Anybody have any leads on where to find a game boy player cheap? I've seen them at $40 used at game stores, and I know that they're $45 after GCC at Best Buy, but I was wondering if anybody knew of a way to get a better price (preferably through a retail location).

This thread has been posted often. And the result? This is likely a peripheral that will never see a significant price drop. But good luck on holding out. I got mine from EBGames.com ($39.99 - 15% (CAG15) - 10% (EDGE) - shipping (SAVER) = $29.99 + tax) long ago. And that was a great deal, IMO. I will never let it go, either.
I think the only way we might see cheaper ones (but only used), is if the Revolution ends up having a GB cartridge slot, just like it will be backward compatible with the GCN.

I hear this guy trying to get cash for a trade-in . . . no go, they'll give him a voucher to get cash later . . . says he's desperate. As he leaves . . . I asked what he had in the bag . . . clerk says we should step outside.
He has a gamecube gameboy player . . . some other stuff . . . I look, I had $15 in my wallet . . . I flashed it . . . not enough . . . I said $25. He agrees and waits in his car while I went into a Pick 'n Save grocery to ATM some cash.
I got out $30 to give him (added $5 . . . feeling kinda sorry for him). He's got a baby in a mini-van . . . says he needs cash to go get his wife who's car has a broken altenator . . . truth? I couldn't say.

Gameboy Player (works and is in good shape) with plastic case for GC disc (disc in very good shape) and instructions.
Zelda Minish Cap (new/mint with box, instructions, and inserts)
Metroid Fusion (cart only so-so label)
Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga (cart only so-so label)
251 memory card (black Nintendo, empty but works fine)
He threw in (maybe because I gave him the extra $5?)
Minish Cap player's guide (beat up but intact)
Prima Metorid Prime/Fusion guide
007 Agent Under Fire (GC disc only in generic case looks playable)
Prima 007 Agent Under Fire guide
Resident Evil Preview disc (with GC case)

No, I'm getting a DS in order to play it on the go . . . I may part with the GBA GC player . . . but its kinda cool . . . and I just fell into the deal!
I looked, the RE4 demo sells for over $10 on ebay by itself . . . because it has movies of all the games on it.
