Looking for a new TV

My current 42" Vizio is giving issues the screen just starts flickering as soon as you turn it on and stays like this for about 10 mins then its fine while its on after that. So instead of getting it fixed I figured I look into getting a new tv.

Anyone know or seen any good deals on 42"(or above) TVs? Im not really looking to break the bank but if its a sweet deal I'll get it.

I'm doin the exact same thing as you. My 46" Samsung DLP just quit working the other day (no longer powers on, tries to but can never fully turn over).. Im currently looking at a 42" LCD LG at Bestbuy for $1160. i want to get an hd tv that isnt super big. 26 inches is about the biggest i would go.

Based on the reviews, it's quite a good tv and it's cheap. But to compare the different brands in order to find the best LCD TV that suits your needs requires some research on one's part. But the gains attained at the end can be very rewarding.
