I need a new Xbox. My current one is just dying painfully. It overheats so fast and it makes this excruciatingly loud clicking noise whenever it's on.

if anyone knows of any 360 Arcade deals going on, please make me aware of it. $200 right now is too expensive right now.

I know how to fix that i had the red ring of death a week ago and im playing odst and banjo kazooie right now. go to Gamerguy51 on youtube and lookup the rrod x clamp fix (his is the only one that is perfect the others are only temporary) it fixes the overheating problem by allowing air to flow right onto the processor eliminating all overheating problems.

sorry forgot to add. parts list:
T8 Torx screwdriver (radioshack has them but i got mine at meijer for $4.99)
Silicone base thermal compound (radioshack $2.99)
flat head screwdriver ( free if borrowed or stolen from friend PS i gave it back)
.032 gauge aluminum sheet ($1.89 hobbytown has them {if hobby is in its name its there, look for model planes})
 
I've got an x-clamp kit and thermal paste that didn't do a damn thing to save my 3yr old 360 (was just beyond all hope). I'd be happy to send it to you for a few bucks to cover the shipping/money lost.
 
k...wait a second...the OP asks for a deal on xbox 360 arcade (same system as i'm looking for) and requests that he cannot spend 200$...

so 195$ and inbox spam is the remedy?

I don't believe that i'm looking at the TRU site right...it shows the 360arcade at 199$
 
wait for a deal at dell, they routinely have the arcade for 160 with free shipping. i believe it's a 15% off coupon. you might be lucky and not live in a state that has sales tax for dell purchases.
