my ipod headphones broke. I need new ones but i want some real good ones with amazing base. Need some suggestions and some offers. let me know.

Koss KSC-50s or 55s. Probably the smallest you'll find with decent bass. The only difference is that they're not earbuds, but that shouldn't matter; earbuds aren't going to get you a lot of bass anyway.

i was thinking of some real good sony headphones that like make it so the outside world is muted when you wear them. any suggestions.

I'm assuming you mean earbuds/earphones, not like big headphones? I hear nothing but good things about Grado headphones, tho they arent very portable.

As for earbuds, I use the Sony MDR-EX70LP Earbud Headphones

I think I've seen them for cheaper at Fry's, so check around. They have awesome bass and just great sound for the price. If you want to spend more, the Shure earbuds are the best I hear, but the cheapest model is $100....

EDIT: you won't hear a thing from the outside world with these on. It takes a little while to get used to the deep sound, but after a day or 2, wou;ll start to hear your music in a new way

i would like some noise canceling headphones. I dont mind if they are big as long as they arent enormous. Please let me know your recommendations

I personally find them to be overpriced and unreliable long term. I've bought many, many Sony products, only to find that other brands outperform them and cost less. Just personal experience though.

The ipod earbuds are amazingly loud for what they are. Mine broke too, and I haven't found a good replacement yet myself. Of course though, with (most) earbuds, you're not getting much bass, so you should look more towards headphones.

the MDR-EX51LP are exactly the same, except for the cord lenght, and they are cheaper

and the MDR-V700DJ are superb but are 90$
