looking for a sealed copy of Valkyrie Profile Lenneth??

spincut

CAGiversary!
I didnt realize it would have sold out so fast everywhere, i thought the Squaresoft store would still be selling it but they arent either.

P.S. I realize i could buy the european version, but i like the cover of the american one better.

P.S.S Yes, i realize Gamequest has it in stock, but dayamn, a little pricey, definetly aint a CAG deal.

i would be very surprised if that worked. I remember trying once with a game that was decidedly less out of stock than that, but when i went to the place that the system said had "1-4" copies, they said they had none and that the online zip code inventory system usually doesnt work too well.

although i'm actually surprised the game still has a page on gamestops website, usually when one cannot find it on most places online as i have been having trouble doing they usually dont remain on gamestops webpages...

I think it's worth a shot. Worst case scenario is you call them up and they tell you they don't have it, best case scenario is they have it sealed and hold it for you.

my point being is that it's probably worth still fielding other more probably suggestions, as this is not a method that has been reliable for me in the past.

$25+shipping for a "barley" played, brand new (ie:used) copy at Half.com

$49.99 @ GQD?? that's more than a little pricey...sheesh.

as i said, am interested to find a new copy, as i have looked on my own, i have of course seen the places where there are used ones.

If you can find me sealed copy Ninja Gaiden Sigma on PS3 (Target Clearance for $15) i'll give you mine SEALED copy Valkyrie Profile Lenneth (PSP).

it's bad enough that i cant find a sealed copy period that is at least priced at the MSRP, but i dont think i can find such an easy to locate sealed game like sigma for so far below the regular retail price.
If you have a Shopko nearby you may get lucky. I found two copies at Logan Ut Shopko a few weeks back on clearance for about $7.
sadly i do not have a shopko near me, and a quick check of their website doesnt have it there (in which case i may have had a shot with ordering it from one of those stores through the website).
WalMart had them yesterday sealed for $30 I believe.
i presume "your" walmart? Because it isnt even on their website.

I wasnt being rude! Perhaps you're reading too much into what i was saying, but when he said that, i went and checked the walmart site, noticed it wasnt even in their database, and -thatsright- presumed it was just his local walmart that happened to be selling a copy. Needless to say there's no need to go on a hissyfit diatrabe because you misread a comment.

y r u being so hurtful and abusive towarsd me. i was just wondering if ud wanna buy a copy from me... my wal mart has it and ic an sell it 2 u for $45 or maybe take a few bucks off if u promise not 2 be so angry next time.

now it just sounds like you're yanking my chain, hurtful and abusive? please. Furthermore, i'll pass at that price.
I've seen this at a few Wal-Marts recently. Also, if your GS has it "new" it will most likely be gutted.
yeah, and i hate gutted copies, it's an open item sold at a new price, AND they dont really need to gut them, some lame excuse as to why it's too hard to just have sample boxes instead of wasting/scamming off a copy as new.

of course aside from my compulsion there's also the fact that gamespot is notorius for not always taking the best care of the contents of said gutted copies.

anyway, i did look into walmart, and although none in my area had it, i did a location search and found one out of state, but of course there is no way they will sell it to me, even though the item is still in the system on their website, they are helpless in using it as an intermediatary to sell it and ship it to me due to it being listed as out of stock, or to ship it to my local walmart.

so walmart technically is out even though i did find one that had it.

i'm a little perterved because only a couple months ago Square was still selling it in their own store online, but it suddenly disspeared.

I wouldn't trust the Wal-Mart in-store locator on their website. Back when Shining Force EXA was first lowered to $19.99 the website said no stores within 50 miles had it in stock. I eventually saw it at 3 different Wal-Mart stores near me, some in large amounts.

yeah but you missed what i said, it actually was useful in my case, i searched a different area, and the store that listed it in stock had it, but they would not sell it to me over the phone or ship it to my local walmart, which seems like something they should be able to do, especially if the item is in their system (obviousyl it is because it's in their website, just the option to buy it through the website is not enabled).

anyway so some walmarts do have it, i even located one that did, but unless i show up in person they cannot sell it or ship it anywhere, so i have to find another place that has it, perhaps a place more flexible towards shipping it to my closer location.

I guess what I was trying to say was you may want to go in person to some of your local Wal-Marts as the website's inventory checker has proven wrong in my past experience with it. Unless, of course, you already had gone in person to your local Wal-Marts and didn't see it.

i hadnt gone in person (i kind of hate walmart) but i did call and ask, i presume if it was there they would have located a copy or at least known it was there.
