you can score one at any pawn shop in great shape for >$80 i've even seen the metal gear solid edition and the god of war edition floating around.

No. I have checked up, down, and backwards for a while.

Luckily, I got a cheap PSP 1000/used. Doesn't play UMDs, but plays downloads great and looks super-good(device & games)for being so old!!!!!!
 
Try pawnshops and ebay.

I've checked a few pawnshops and they go for around $60-$70.

In ebay you could try and win a bid. Almost got a working one for $40.
