I have that model, I originally paid $399 for it last year. It's a Thermos model with 3 main burners and a side burner, right? It's not a bad grill, but the grilling surface is hollow-tube stainless, and it's pretty thin. It tends to get a nice coat of rust on it in-between use, and you have to brush it pretty well and oil it up before you put any food on it. I rather have a cast-iron or porcelain surface. Also, I think the internal burners are cast-iron, which may not last as long as brass burners. The side burner is brass though.

Side burners are a useless add-on like rustproofing or seatbelts.
I bet you could shave a few bucks off the price if you looked for ones without it.
Other questions, What are you mainly doing with the grill? You looking to go propane or coal? If you're just fu(kin around with burgers and chicken breasts you really don't need to spend all that much but if you plan on a leg of lamb slow cooked over indirect heat you might need more space.
Think practical, think about how much room you'll REALLY need, not what the man in you says you should have.
And for God sakes if you aren't sure how to tell doneness than get a meat themometer. You can even get a digital one that goes off at the right temperature because over cooking is just as bad as undercooking.

I picked up a stainless steel Thermos (older model with ceramic grates) at Target a year or so ago when it was on clearance for $75 (75% off). Excellent grill with a great warranty (called and they replaced the grates because they were "uneven"). End of summer Target usually clearances out this stuff, if you can wait get it then. If not, buy one at Costco and return it after the summer when you find one on clearance at Target.
