Title says it all. I just got a PS2 and this is one I really want. Any ideas? Anyone want to sell theirs perchance. Whatever deal I can find would be appreciated.

I agree. I'm waiting this one out until $20. I'd recommend picking up Red Faction 2 or Timesplitters 2 to hold you over until then.
 
this game isnt worth the cheap deal, at MSRP it sucks, even if its on sale, its not worth picking up. wait tilol it drops to 20. its nowhere near a halo 2 killer. HL 2 is better then halo 2. =]

Have you actually played killzone? It's very good...and Halo 2 is really getting reamed in the gamers eyes as a short game with a bad ending.

it wasnt as fun as i thought it would be. its not worth 50 bucks or anything lower. 20 bucks maybe.
halo 2 is short, and bad ending. but multiplayer is the best out of many. so lets take killzone, you can say it has a good story blah blah, but compare the multiplayer.

I'd rather have a short Halo 2 than a long piece of crap like Killzone. Well, Killzone isn't horrible, but the controls aren't good and its nothing special.

I've gotta go with defender on this one. Killzone is awesome. The controls weren't bothersome at all for me. Only with the Sniper Rifle which I think everyone has had trouble with. It had a much better story and far more interesting gameplay dynamics. For a game not based on a war, it was the most realistic battles I have ever seen/read of. The best graphics IMO on the PS2. It uses a special style of graphics where from at far it doesn't look to good but as you get closer it looks unbelievable. Great multiplayer to boot, though there is some noticeable lag in it. Way better IMO than Halo 2 was. I don't know why the press has been bashing it/not giving it a better grade than it has. There should be some bump mapping in it, and some better lighting effects, but you can tell that it didn't have those jsut because the PS2 probably can't handle it.

I could see someone having a good opinion of Killzone, I wouldn't argue that point, I don't think its a bad game, but if you're going to say Killzone's multiplayer is better than Halo 2's, you lose all credibility.

Get off my dick. I don't know who the hell you are, but you're annoying the hell out of me. I am extremely fair to games, and I usually find a silver lining in everyone - I justified paying $49.99 for Enter The Matrix - so quit attempting to bash me.
