After many reviews and renting from Fry's, I decided to go with an x800 xl video card. It's the most bang for the buck right now IMO. I bought an ati 256mb x800 xl. I tried different cards even the x850 xt (the small performance gain didn't merit the 200+ cost diff). The x800 xl runs great, and I threw an arctic cooling fan kit on the bad boy and it runs super cool.... You can also get some decent overclock love out of the card . I did some tests and got a few extra frames out of it, but I just run it on factory settings almost all the time. Go with the x800 xl, if all you have is 3 bills.... newegg has a very nice selection of x800 xl cards. I am extremely happy with my purchase.
