Looking for Cheap Gaming Laptop, Newbie to PC Gaming.

CAGiversary!
I'm looking to get a new lap top. In particular I want to be able to run NBA 2k15 smoothly. I dont need the highest settings either, just enought to look solid. Is it possible to get a cheap gaming lap top that could handle thia at around $600?

I get this if I had to ASAP but it is $629.

Acer isn't the greatest brand but you can play NBA on the highest settings. A good Lenevo weekly offer or something else might be cheaper with a I7 and better screen. I would wait and post on another site like Tom's Hardware. I might even be someone responding your question there as well but as you can notice I'm not the best at it.

I am fairly sure EA Access counts as a deal and if not I apologize.

EA Access is a service on the Xbox One that costs $4.99 a month of $29.99 a year.

- Free games which are in the Vault

- 10% discount on certain or all EA games, DLC and microtransactions

- Trials to some new games whose saves may transfer to the full game

Games in the Vault

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare

FIFA 14

Battlefield 4

Need for Speed Rivals,

Peggle 2

Madden NFL 25,

Upcoming Trial games

Dragon Age Inquisition

Gonna check at the site you gave me for suggestions. Also will check New Egg.

That being said, what should I look for in a solid gaming lap top? I can't really tell what will be best. Should be of similar specs of yhe lap top you recomended?

For the price point I go for a I5 or I7 and a decent graphics card. Check this for the one to get graphics card wise.

So what are you talking about give me an example of your max $699.99. Also how long will you keep it?

I think at the 700ish you could get a higher end graphics card and a fourth generation I7. Honestly a desktop would be better if possible.

I was referring to the link you gave me earlier about the Acer Aspire laptop. As I stated earlier, I'm really just looking to run one game in particular and thats NBA 2k15. I'm trying to stay in the $600 range but, I'll consider if it goes slightly higher.

The link you gave me helps me get an idea of what to look for. I am looking more for a portable decive which why I prefer a laptop. Again, I won't be heavy gaming. Just want enough to run NBA 2k15 smoothly.

Appreciate the links and suggestions. Any advice is welcome.
