I recently tried out the Psyclone Source Selector from Circuit City ($99), due to the fact that I was experiencing a ground loop problem when hooking up the Wii and PS2 directly to my Samsung LCD. With the source selector, that video noise is gone, so I'm sticking with it. Only thing is I want to find it either for cheaper, or a source selector just as good.

Ebay is selling a few for a reasonable price (shipping's only 7 bucks):

but I wanted to see if there was an online store selling in-box copies, or if there's a cheaper source selector that should provide the same level of noise reduction.

I know this is going to sound bad but Wal Mart has a Philips in store for around 15 bucks. It supports component, composite, and SVideo. The reason it is so cheap is because it doesn't come with cables. Every Mad Catz or Pelican one I have bought buttons have gone bad but this Philips one is holding up well.

I don't see it online but it is in both of my local stores. I have a Panasonic 37 plasma, DVD player, Dish DVR, PS2, Wii, 360 all going through this and haven't noticed any issues with video noise.

What's the cheapest A/V selector that includes digital audio and upconverts, say from S-Video to component? And by cheapest I mean decent quality but best price.

- What you're asking for is a scaler that can do that. DVDO makes a few, but expect to pay a lot of money for it (>$1000). You may be able to find a few switches that will let you output using the same cable as you input, but I'm not familiar with any that also have digital audio.

Your other bet is a cheap upscaling receiver, but even that is going to run a few hundred dollars.
