I am looking for a gaming laptop at about $800 or under. I have
been looking for the right laptop at the right price, but each one I have browsed through doesn't seem to match what I want.

I am looking to find a laptop that runs more demanding games like Crysis, on Med settings, and games that arent as demanding such as Left 4 Dead.

I think I found the right laptop for me thats a tad over my budget while browsing amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Pavilion-DV6-...F8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&s=pc&qid=1275512793&sr=1-5

And another thats just under my budget:

Don't really want to go over $800 but haven't found a laptop that has a decent video card. Any help or advice is appreciated, thanks in advance!

Have you checked out on those Alienwares? The Mx11 netbooks are around $800 to $900 price range. There are coupons and student discounts that could bring it very close to that range. I have been drooling at these for awhile and would love to bite into it if I ever get the $$$. I have heard excellent reviews on the Mx11 models. A friend of mine has a very neat setup and it saves a lot of space for the kind of power it has.

Here is the coupon code to save $50 on top of the discount. It is a stackable code! WQQ$MQ0M4JNCWD.

Cheers!

By the way. Honestly, I have a DV6 laptop and I am somewhat regretting of buying one. The AMD models tend to overheat very easily because the cooling design system is horrible. I hear the fan run constantly. Not sure if they run cooler with an Intel chip instead. Then, my girlfriend sat on it and it cracked the screen. =(

Nowadays the gaming platform is shifting from the personal computer to laptops as laptops have more connectivity options in them and also that they can be carried any where the person likes. Gaming laptops are also cheaper than gaming PCs.
