Hey CAGers, I am looking for any good online deals you might have found on the new Star Ocean. Let me know if you found any. Thanks.

For me that outpost deal came to $49 something with tax and the cheapest shipping option. Although they only use UPS, so atleast the cheapest option is 3 day shipping. Personally, I'd pick it up at BB with the GGC for less money the day it hits.

Doesn't the CC ad for next week have it for $39.99? Here is a link to trsucompany's ad thread:

You can Pricematch CC price at BB and get it for $36 +TAX
Add a GGC and get it for 31+Tax.
Can you do both at the same time?
It has been done, but YMMV...

Well, if it's not 100% and YMMV it will be tuff to get that cute girl wearing that ugly blue shirt to get both discounts to work.

IF Circuit City have it for $39.99 this weekend.... Go to CC pickup the game and hand the $5 off coupon at customer service and CC will do the pricematch. if they said they don't take BB coupon. then you said " I wanted Pricematch" :)

You end up get it for $34.50 plus taxes or even less depend on Clerk !!

You mean $39 + tax. That's 10% of the difference, not the low price.

$39.99 + 110% (pricematch) = $35.99 +Tax

or 39.99 - $5 GGC = $34.99 + Tax

EDIT : My math was a mess..
Read my post in bragging rights and you'll see how I got it for $27.99 + tax
This is YMMV. I can get it this way. But what if you dont have a raincheck or can't get one ? I couldn't get it last week for FF. All my Targets had 25 copies.
A coupon which may not be combined with any other offers.
A price match is considered an offer?

$39.99 + 110% (pricematch) = $35.99 +Tax

or 39.99 - $5 GGC = $34.99 + Tax
I'm sorry, that makes no sense to me.

110% pricematch = -$4 ?

Here's my math (-tax):

BB original price = $49.99
CC price = $39.99
price difference = $10.00
110% of price difference = $11.00

BB price - 110% of price difference = $49.99 - $11.00 = 38.99

$39.99 + 110% (pricematch) = $35.99 +Tax

You forgot to match the price. it'd be 40-11, wouldn't it?

No. If you think they match the price, then give you another 110% of the difference, that'd mean they actually give you 210% of the difference, not 110%.

Price matching means giving you 100% of the difference. Stores like best buy give you just a little bit more to make it even more appealing.

Bestbuy is $uck for Pricematch with any stores and It take you forever to wait in the line. Even only 2-3 peoples it take you at least 20 to 45 mins.

Also, they won't give you 110% different if you purchase & pricematch at the same time. (You have to buy the item 1st then do the Pricematch).

That's why bestbuy is #1 worst customer service in my LIST.

CC & SEARs is the BEST PLACE for Pricematching even without the ads (you can printed the ads on online or give them phone # to call the store).

:)
