Hey guys, I'm looking for a new DVD rack. The current one I own, which holds about 125 DVDs is now completely overflowing. I have about 20 or so DVDs just sitting on top of it and it's really un-sightly. Can anyone recommend me one that will be able to hold around 300-400 DVDs? Or two that can hold about 200 each?

I'm looking to buy these rack(s) B&M only. So if anyone can recommend one from CC, BB, Compusa, etc, let me know. Thanks.

$59.99, holds 279 DVDs if I recall correctly. I might end up getting two as that would work well for my collection. :D
 
I'll look into that, fits what I need/want pretty well, thanks. Can you give me any dimensions on the size of it? The thing looks pretty big.

Anyone else have other suggestions? Perhaps something in black.
 
Last week Target had a sale on a bookcase, which is perfectly suitable for DVD's. It was $26, reg. $29.99. It had five shelfs, is about 6 feet tall, 3 feet wide and a foot deep.
 
There are no dvd racks that hold 300-400 individually. At least none that are available at B&M and cost less then $150. I prefer the black fellows best buy racks. This is an old pic, but you get the idea of how they look side by side.

Pound for pound for pound they are the best deal. They hold 288 dvds + side by side you gain an additional 7 in between the shelves meaning for $100 you can hold 618 dvds. You can't come close to that from any other B&M store, trust me I've tried. Our collection is now up to over 800 and we are just about to move the three we have into the office for the cds and then create a custom built in for the dvds.

fye b&m has an extremely cheap black plastic dvd tower for $10 w/ a $10 rebate (free AR). it's made out of two molded plastic pieces and it looks really plain, but you can't beat the price hehe. i wouldn't recommend it for a home theater enthusiast b/c it wouldn't look right next to some expensive hi-fi equipment, but if you just need it for storage, it'll work fine. the tower can hold up to 50 dvd's or console game cases.

BTW, your DVD collection makes me wanna cry...its just so...beautiful. How many people contribute to it?
 
Just me and my wife. She had about a hundred when we first met and I had about 80. The rest is history. Its a little bigger now, just barely over 800, which is why we need a new solution. All three racks are now full with dvds only and there is no more space, so we need to go vertical.
