I think my wallet really is lost.
I didn't have my debit card in there, but my Drivers License.... misc IDs... stupid GS Edge card with 90 bucks on it.....
That sucks dude. Obvious question, but did you retrace your steps back to where you remember having it last? I did that 2 Christmases ago and managed to find my wallet on the ground under the canopy at a gas station...

Maybe you can talk to your gamestop and get them to cancel that edge card and transfer the balance to a new one before someone spends it?
Is it really that much better than DMC4 and NGS2? I haven't even seen gameplay footage of Bayonetta yet -- I'm just assuming that it's good.
If you like DMC4 and NGS2, you'd probably like Bayonetta as well.
Do it and don't even go to class until you've put 100 hours in...game of the gen. passionate climax action millionaire fighting extreme zero!
18 hours was enough for me. That was two playthroughs. I may try infinite climax someday, but I found certain parts of hard to be aggravating, so I'm not sure I wanna subject myself to that.

Edge card is just a gift card though, there's no record of it. If it's gone, it's gone.
Last time I remember having it was the 28th, and other than going out a few times, I didn't notice until 31st. I really thought it'd be lost at home (usually is) but I've turned the place upside down, even went back to the office to check.

I really didn't go anywhere, just a few spots, but I called those places. I may just have to retrace my steps.

lets put it this way...I'm pretty sure I like it better than NGBlack and DMC3. It doesn't have as much content as either game, but the combat is just incredibly fun.

cool. I'm at 16 hours...still on normal and I'm at ch.14. Grinding a lot for all the accessories and just having a blast replaying missions and stuff.

Just picked up CS: Source, Killing Floor and Stalker from the Steam Sale for $11.97.

I haven't PC gamed in years... anyone wanna play Killing Floor sometime this week?
I think I'm done with the steam sale. Ended up getting:
Civ IV Complete-14
Max Payne Collection-4
Braid-2.50
Audiosurf-2.50
Killing Floor-5.00
Torchlight-5.00

For a total of 33 bucks. Not bad, not bad at all. Anyone else have Killing Floor?
Civi 4 Complete was $14? I missed that... But I have Killing floor. Not sure how well it will run on this PC..

I just played the GoW3 demo, and I gotta say I'm impressed. Then again I loved Gow 1/2 and CoO...soo thats not much of a stretch.

I dunno what to start playing now though..

That's quite the recommendation. I really liked DMC4 and NGS2, but I feel like the "hardcore stylish action game" genre or whatever they want to call it now has sorta taken a step back this gen. So yeah, better than Black and DMC3? Now I'm excited.

By the way, how's law school?

Thank god the Steam sale is just about over. I don't even know when I'll have the time to play any of them...or if my PC can handle all of them.

So, who's buying what in January? I'm sure I will pass on buying any new releases this month. I'm interested in Bayonetta, and did enjoy the stylish demo, but I'll probably wait till it drops to around 30 bucks. Nothing else released this month really interests me.

Besides, I'm saving my dollars for March, when I'm sure my wallet will be gang raped.

Games I'm definitely buying this month: Bayonetta and Mass Effect 2.

Games I'll be signing out at work: Sands of Destruction and Darksiders

4 chapters left in Uncharted 2. Hopefully I can wrap it up tomorrow and trade it in Tuesday for Bayonetta. That'll be all for me this month, I've got too many new steam games to play.

Kamiya saved the current gen action game losing streak. just beat the game a couple hours ago...the overall campaign isn't quite as solid as NGB/DMC3, but the actual action is easily the most fun of the three games. I still have weapons and a ton of accessories to unlock.

I don't know how law school is, still waiting on my first semester grades which I won't get until next semester starts and I'm trying not to think about it.

Probably won't buy anything this money. Mass Effect 2 is a must buy, as the first one is one of my all time favorite games. But I don't have time to get sucked into it right now with teaching a new course this semester and tons of other work to finish up. So it will wait until late spring or early summer when I have more time and can fully dive into it.

Have Shadow Complex and Castle Crashers to occupy me for a while, along with Modern Warefare 2 online. Need to get back to Rock Band 2 as well, got it and the first one off goozex and haven't really touched the 2nd one much beyond playing all the Pearl Jam DLC in it.

I feel the same way about Bayonetta. But I will probably pick up NMH2 when it comes out. I'm also thinking about getting a laptop as well.

And I need to start saving my money for March as well since I'll be attending PAX East. I probably have enough money to pay for my room right now. But I'll need to worry about Gas and food as well.

Why buy them vs. waiting and seeing if there's a deal between launch and when you have time to play them?

To support the developers of a game that will probably sell poorly(NMH2)?

And I think one of Ninja's post did the same thing as well...
To support the developers of a game that will probably sell poorly(NMH2)?
That's a fair point.

Doesn't apply to ME2 which he listed as well though. Anyway, just struck me as odd--especially on CAG. Why pay launch prices for a game you won't play right away? Though the GGT seems a pretty un-CAG thread since discussion centers around recently launched games.

And I think one of Ninja's post did the same thing as well...

Yeah, I found a thread about it in the Feedback forum, looks like it's been a problem lately.

fucking Mass Effect 2 wine mixer...

I know I'm definitely not a "CAG." If I want a game I buy it at launch.

Yeah, I only buy a few games a year but I usually buy them at launch. Half the fun of gaming is getting to experience it as a community.
I know I'm definitely not a "CAG." If I want a game I buy it at launch.
Same here. If there is a game I really want I'll buy it day 1. For anything else I'll wait for a deal. However I tend to be more "CAG" like with my anime and manga purchases. 90% of the time I'll hold off until I see a sale on something.
Yeah, I only buy a few games a year but I usually buy them at launch. Half the fun of gaming is getting to experience it as a community.
Exactly.

What about games that are strictly offline?
What about games that are strictly offline?
I didn't mean playing them online. I meant discussing them with gaming friends, or on places iike CAG, and being a part of the game's community as things are found and discovered as everyone experiences the "HOLY SHIT" moments at the same time, that kind of thing. Rei gets me.

I think he's talking about people just talking about the game, not just playing online Rolento.
And that's true, I also like 'being part of it'. EDIT: Yeah.

January is crazy, number one on the list is Bayonetta but I'm also considering:

Sands of Destruction
Glory of Heracles
NMH2

Data East Arcade Classics got pushed back to early Feb. :(

Yup, that's probably my favorite part of all my hobbies. Whether it be games, comics, anime, music, etc. Keeping current so I can discuss it with other people and friends.

Hey, guys, anyone see that Dark Knight movie?! Eh? Eh?

still haven't watched it actually

UNO online with DSi is FANTASTIC!!!!!!
I'm so addicted to that now.

K yeah i totally understand you, it's just that I wanted clarification if that was it.

I am the same, but most launch games I get I make it a point to stay playing long term. 80% of my purchases are permanent.
Woah! DSi has online Uno!? I know what I'm downloading ASAP!
Yeah, it came out like two weeks ago I think.

I was afraid there weren't going to be people online but I don't usually have to hit "join quick game' more than once to get a game started.
Now I create my own games since I hate the 7-0 rules and make sure I have that off.
It's pretty fun!
Why pay launch prices for a game you won't play right away? Though the GGT seems a pretty un-CAG thread since discussion centers around recently launched games.
Funny, I have yet to pay MSRP for a launch title thanks to CAG.

Sure I could get it "even cheaper" waiting for some bargin bin/clearance (which I do as well), but if it's a game I want and I can find a deal on it, I'm there...
I never pay MSRP for a title. They're always at least 15% off ;)
Not including Pre Order Bonuses. ;)

I'm holding off on buying most new games day 1. If all of the big Christmas releases had a sale to 40 in a couple weeks, I can only imagine Bayonetta, ME2, Darksiders etc. will.

about 20 hours for normal and 2 chapters of hard mode...that includes AFK time (at least 2 hours of that) and a fair amount of grinding previous chapters for halos (money.)

Same here. Money is going to be tighter for me this year and I actually got rid of some of the games I beat in past year or so to go for games that come out this year. I also got lucky to be able to borrow games from co-workers(Assassins Creed I & II) and getting some of the games that were on sale during the holidays will help make the wait for the games of 2010 not hurt so much.
If anything, it'll be dual audio. +5 sales regained
Doubt it. That would just be even more money they would lose on it. :p

However someone from SEGA Europe's Community Team has said the game will be sub only. Of course that is from some blog I've never heard of and he's from the UK.
