I have a Compaq Presario S5100NX with a celeron processor at 2.59 GHZ. For some reason my motherboard does not have a AGP or PCI-Express slot. I am looking for a motherboard that work with my machine. Any help is appreciated.

You might as well get a new processor when you buy a new motherboard. Celeron's are pretty weak. If you can afford it, buy a Pentium4.

As for the motherboard, ASUS is a great brand. It's slightly pricier, but its really well made and has great warranty and customer support.

Forget about reusing your case as well. The big boys (HP/Cpq, Dell, IBM etc) usually use non-standard form factors, so you can't just slide in a new standard ATX mobo and expect it to fit.

Keep an eye on bensbargains.com...I think I saw earlier this morning an ATX case + 400+ W power supply for around $40. I bought a new motherboard + CPU (Athlon XP 2900+) from Tiger Direct for a combined price for $80 after rebates, though I think that deal may be expired...check tigerdirect.com's page for motherboards, it should be highlighted if it's still available.
