Looking for Real Time RPG's like Rogue Galaxy

I want to play some real time RPG's but Rogue Galaxy is kind of expensive right now. I'm looking for PSX/PS2 RPG's with the the real time combat system.

Any help is appreciated.

If you haven't played Dark Cloud 2, it's highly recommended. For something a little different, but still real-time, check out Valkyrie Profile 2.

Both of those are excellent games.

Second Dark Cloud 2. Plus if you are a completionist, that game could take you until Rogue Galaxy is $20 easily.

Tales of the Abyss may also be right up your alley. Also Okami.

Any of the Tales games would be good. Also I third Dark Cloud 2. Great game.

Not really. The closest is probably Star Ocean 2, Tales of Destiny and Tales of Eternia off the top of my head.

For the PS2, there's KH 1/2 and Star Ocean 3. .hack//GU and SMT: Devil Summoner also fit.

Probably my favorite RPG on PS2. Very fun game.
