Looking for the Best Deal on Babylon 5 DVDs

ddrlenz

CAGiversary!
I'm trying to pick up the remaining seaons on Babylon 5 I don't have on DVD. Does anyone happen to know of any deals around $20 for these sets?

I don't want to pay $30+ when I know Wal-Mart had them around $20 in the past...

Thanks in advance!

BB has had them off and on in the past few months for $20 each. I think it was as recently as a couple weeks ago. They still have Season 5 at $19.99, though it's backordered on the site, though you should be able to find it at B&M for that price.

Walmart had them at $22-something quite a few months ago, though hasn't had them at that price for a while.

I saw them at Costco at $20 each, though they only had seasons 1 & 5 on display, though I don't know if was all the seasons, though I'd expect it to be all the seasons.

That was almost EXACTLY what I was going to say. If you don't need them immediately, just wait for Best Buy to have them on sale. It seems anytime they put box sets on sale they lump these in. I got them in December when they dropped them to $20 for Xmas. Still waiting for them to put Crusade or the movie collection on sale tho.

I picked it up at that price.

The movie collection would be around $40 or so with the DDD 20% off sale right now.

Thanks! Now when payday comes Crusade will be mine. Man I wish this series survived. Between this, Firefly, Space: Above and Beyond, and Alien Nation I've learned to never fall in love with a sci-fi series because it'll only break your heart. At least they got through the five seasons of Babylon 5 without having to change the story too much.
BB and Costco has these for $20 a season. you just have to get lucky that they still have them in stock.
BB does not have them at $20 a season at this time, save Season 5.

I was just at my BB two days ago and they did. Maybe YMMV or something, but I can guarantee that they were $20 a piece.

I'll try to run by my BB on the way home and see if they're $20 in-store or not.

18.99 at the Costco in Cincy. I winced when I saw that, as I paid 50-60 each for them back in the day (bought each season the day it was released).

They were all $19.99 at the my BB in Austin, so it might be a B&M thing only. If only the blood sucking vultures would put the movie pack on sale, then I'd be in business.

Don't winch too hard. I bought Seasons 1 and 4 when they were 89.99 each. That's a major non-CAG thing I did back in 2002 and 2003.

That's probably the case. I'm absolutely sure that they were $19.99 a piece. I'm not making this up just for my own pleasure:lol:

I will agree with the others that have posted before me.

Everyonce in a while Best Buy has them for $19.99. I always am broke when that happens but have saved up so now when they do it again I will buy it all.
Battlestar Galactica on Sci-Fi is pretty damn good. You should check it out.
Yeah, love that one too. Then it became too expensive to produce and it's ending. 10-12 hours of it left (I'm hoping for 12).

I have the feeling we will have a release on Blue ray. the SD ones don't hold up too good even on sdtv :(
