Microwaved butter I can't do. I might roll the dice and try this shit:

Or just buy all the real stuff:

*looks at the prices*

I'd just get an air popper and the gallon of butter flavor. Maybe look into a small oil popper like this one. I know that's more in line with the 'real' machines, but it's harder to find a good one. (The one we had was just too greasy.)
I think it's better than theatre popcorn, but it's hard to avoid destroying the popcorn in the process (too much melted butter makes it shrivel up.)
No, sir. It shrivels up when the butter is too hot. My mind was blown when I discovered this.

I've never liked banana flavored candy. They taste like Pepto-Bismol combined with banana skin. Banana desserts and snacks, on the other hand, are my favorites, from all kinds of frozen drinks to "Bananas Foster" to tempura bananas to bananas with toppings. Hell, aside from pineapples, bananas are my favorite fruit.

Yeah, but when it cools it gets coagulated, and ends up like candle wax. If you have a special method, please share. Seriously, I'm like on fucking strike from watching movies until I can find a way to make movie theater popcorn at home. Tired of the storebought shit that doesn't taste anything like it. I want to take a dump on Orville Reddenbockers grave for that sad excuse for "movie theater butter" his company puts out.

Yeah, those are some insane prices. Even the "shit models" are kinda expensive. If I with the lottery I'm totally buying the real shit though. Until then, I might just get a jug of that shit to pour on the Homestyle popcorn you can get at the store.

have you ever tried cooking popcorn on the stove? all you need is a tall pot and some il the main thing is to keep your eye on it its easy to burn it if you dont it taste a bit nuttier than with air popping imo.

you could probably buy some of that movie theatre butter stuff online somewhere.looks like amazon has a bunch of them.

heres a site you may want to check out ive never bought anything there but some of their stuff is available on amazon.

I've seen some on Amazon in the past. I might just get a jug. Doesn't seem terribly expensive to me and looks like it would last quite a while.

seems like it i may pick up a few flavors myself kinda curious what grape popcorn would taste like and of course salt and vinegar is a must. reminds me of when that old goggle eyed bastard first started making flavored microwave popcorn. the sourcream and onion as well as caramel flavors were awesome. knowlledge can be a bitch sometimes.......

The only reason movie theater(kettle) popcorn tastes so good, is because it's literally drenched in oil. It might as well be fried. It's overflowing with saturated fat.
Lawry's seasoning salt on popcorn is badass.
tastes way better on homemade french fries.
