Looks Like Family Guy Will Stay

Sorry but that is how it works... for every series and every network (save for maybe PBS). Fox being outside the original big three cares somewhat less about ratings (WB and UPN would care less) and they are big on releasing DVD sets, but to say any network doesn't care about ratings is rediculous. TV networks make most of their money in advertising...they don't have to draft a check to creators and actors for selling ad spots, they do for DVDs and merchandise. Further more it takes even more money to make DVD sets. And for the kicker dwindling ratings and failure to secure good advertising dollars are the main reasons all the series you heard named the other night and Family Guy were cancelled plain and simple.

Sure, whatever you say. :roll: First of all, my comment that you quoted wasn't even about Family Guy - it was about American Dad. Second, if you bothered to read my initial post in this thread you would have noticed that I thought a scene in Sunday's FG episode was very funny (unlike the rest of the show, unfortunately). Third, this is an anonymous internet message board - I'd love to see you react to something in real life that actually mattered. Now that would be funny.

You are an idiot.:roll: You never specified that it was about American Dad, which it wasn't. The person you quoted was speaking of American Dad, while you came forward with a completely random Family Guy bash. Why in hell would you even mention Family Guy if you're talking about American Dad? It was completely random, the only connection being Seth McFarlane created them, which isn't a very solid connection at all.

Wonderful; I'm glad Family Guy found some way to entertain you, but saying you liked one part of it doesn't justify bitching about the whole series constantly. If you dislike it so much, why even bother going to a Family Guy board? It's like sticking your hand in an oven, (I apologize if that isn't original enough for you) only you're [acting like] the idiot child that says "Dah, this makes me feel ow.... Let's do it again!
