Loophole in FREESHIPALL Gamestop coupon code?

After buying a nes controller keychain with my Suikoden IV order lastweek using

thread, I noticed it gave me free value shipping on everything in my order. However, if I tried the coupon on many other items (even new) it would not activate.

Long story short, I figured out that as long as you add one of those cheap keychains to your order, everything else in the order becomes free shipping also.

Anyone else try this? Am I just missing something so simple that led me to this conclusion wrongly? It might be good when buying lots of stuff. (I also love getting a new keychain with every order since they cost the same as value shipping anyway so ou technically get it for free..).

This time I went with the mushroom and Technic Beat.
 
I've never had a problem with freeshipall regardless of price or condition. Just recently I used it to get free shipping on RE4 and Future Tactics without having to add anything else in my cart. But maybe if other people are having the same problem as you it might help.
 
Ironically freeshipall isn't working again for me, weee... damn you gamestop. So many times you screw me over on pre-order bonuses; I'm contemplating spending the tax and shipping at eb because they haven't failed me yet online ~_~

Use the Shop menu in the header or pretty much any link to GameStop (like this one) from the forums.
 
Now it is working for me for everything except lunar ds, unless i add another preorder with lunar, weird ~_~

Maybe their server was buggin out.

you do know that EBgames.com has free shipping whenever you have a PO item in your cart and you can get 25 percent off.. i only buy at eb until the merger is complete. then they are forcing me basically to buy from GS
