Lord of The Rings Online $39.99 in-stock now at Frys

I just went to Frys in Fremont and picked up Lord of The Rings Online today. They already have the game on the shelf, and the price was $39.99.

I also picked of the PS2 to PS3 Controller Adapter. It works great for Dance Pads. Now I can play DDR on my PS3.

Have you tried the controller adapter with a PS2 dualshock? Does rumble work?

My local EB has LOTR in too, but wont sell it till the 24th. Doesn't really matter though since they wont work till then anyway. I am loving the beta and can't wait for the full launch.
 
Unless you update the PS3 with the latest update that just came out the
rumble feature does not work.

Having said that, even if you have the update the rumble may not work on some 3rd party controllers.

Works fine for me.

You can get it for about $25 shipped after GCO at shop.mtv.com. No idea when they'll actually ship it out, though. I ordered from there and then picked up a pre-order disc from EBGames.
 
I thinK Fry's now the pre-order disc for $.99 or free with purchase of the game, but that's a sweet price for the game if they ever ship it.

Where are you supposed to get the pre-order disc? I saw the display at Fry's and there was a sign up about the pre-order, but I didn't see where to get the disc. I ended up buying it thinking that it was just inside the box, but it seems to be only the retail version.

I'm going to go back tomorrow and ask them about it. I'll be bummed out if I don't get the $10 subscription rate. Granted that I should have ordered earlier, but this was an impulse buy after reading about it.

The Pre-Sell is in it's own retail box, you have to ask for the pre-sell bonus items. The sticker says free with purchase of game.
