took the free trial for a stroll, decided to bite. picked up some of those game cards too. see you server side!
 
Having played both WOW and this, I would say I think this one is better. The major issue I have with this one, at least compared to WOW is that you are hard pressed to find groups even if you wanted them for the lower level content now if you aren't in a guild.

It isn't that important since a lot of the game is soloable, but some of the main quest line stories require groups. Most of these are extremely well done and much better than any of the quests I had played in WOW. The interface and the way skills are used is very similary but the group dynamics in the game are different.

If you are interested in MMO's, you can't beat trying this for 9.99. Of the 8 or so I've tried, this was my favorite one.

Actually, the main group stuff is now soloable, main being the book/chapter things. They made most of the stuff leading up to Moria soloable, maybe some of Moria even.

It's been 8 months since I played. I played through Moria and into Lothlorien before stopping again. AT the time, there were still story quests (Book 14 I think?) that occurred in the frozen land they added that I could not solo. Also, I can't believe they would have made some of the ones in Angmar soloable.

As said though, it's been 8 months....

Apparently so. The original thread was from over a month ago and the most recent one linked to a deal posted 6 days ago somewhere else.

I had just been commenting on the general game but after trying to click it myself, I saw it at 29.99 as well.
