LotR: The Battle for Middle Earth (DVD) $9.99 at Amazon-Dead

I just tried to buy it, and was shut down. Looks like they at least fixed the mistake, but hopefully they will honor the price for the people who ordered it
amazon cancels orders with impunity. All you naysayers obviously have never tried to get in on a big price mistake by them like this before. Now it has hit a few boards and they will NOT honor it.

I am still ordering on the off chance that some random act of god makes this slip through their radar! :)
Does Amazon usually cancel the orders right away, or do they wait until they ship?
Whenever I got in on the Amazon mistakes, they usually cancel the orders right away(within a few days).
I guess that Ill keep my $20 CD version order with them, because Ive had that order for months and it has not been canceled yet. If I get both Ill just sell one of them to a friend.

I just got my "Cancellation Notice" from Amazon.
New price $49.99!
Suffice it to say that I will not be ordering it at that price.

Got the dreaded CANCELLATION email just a few minutes ago ...

DAMN!!!!!
Oh well, at least my order for the $19.99 CD edition is still active! Bummer on this one though...
Same here. Its been active for months, so I doubt it will get canceled.

I got the cancellation notice from my order direct from target.com So that didn't make a difference.

Don't blame them for cancelling the orders, but it would have been very nice to send a small gift certificate or % off coupon code as a consolation.

I think that if you send them an email asking for repertations they will send you a $15 off code.

I gave them no small end of business and they basically told me to get bent. No coupon, no apologies, just "we made a mistake with the pricing due to human error and computer error". Complete crap.

They should honor it, take that as a sharp reminder on their bottom line to check before they post, and then go on with their day. Fscking idiots.

I guess I'll give it a shot. And is it a code good for anything or do they somehow work it so you have to use it on this game?
