LOTS of PC games under $5 at EB
XIII and Uru look sweet!
too bad that uru is the expansion...at least i'm pretty sure it is
I can only assume that the people who are complaining about Deus Ex: IW have never installed a patch. If you go to Eidos website and download the patch for this game, it will fix most issues. It still has some bugs, but not nearly enough to bother the game, at least not to me. I was able to finish it without a crash or item loss after installing the patch.
Thats good to hear. After I ordered it, everyone started saying how crappy it was on the PC. I was starting to get pissed because I wasted money, even if it was only a couple dollars.

When I check my order status at Ebgames for Perimeter, Breed, and DE: IW it says I ordered two of each and one of each was shipped. I only ordered one of each. The total for each game on the right makes it appear that I have ordered one of each, but according to the subtotal and total I only ordered one of each. Wierd.

Thanks for the update. I guess I have to order these on-line. I checked with a few B&"Ms and they do not support these prices. I checked Commandos 3 and it was $15 not $2 at the store.

Oh well, now to find some cheep preowned game to use my Saver coupon!

I ordered DX:IW last time it was $2 at EB, and I really enjoyed it. The AI is dumb as a box of rocks, but it's still fun.

Ran fine for me at max settings, too.

Radeon 9700 pro
512 PC 3200 RAM
XP 2400+
Soundblaster Live

and now the $2 bargins, like DXIW, Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb, and even Alias are all back to original prices. Have to wait for the next round of discounts - maybe next week?

Unfortunatly Peremiter and Lords of Everquest are back up. I'll probably pick up at least Invisible War and Commandos 3. Has anyone found these prices in store since I'd rather just drive the quarter mile when I go out instead of waiting for them to come.
Seriously, if someone passes up Deus Ex: IW for 1.99, i'm going to smack them with a bamboo stick or something.
Still funny, every time I read it.

I've checked DXIW and Commandos 3 at the local stores and they are not clearance priced as on eb.com. I asked a sales clerk there and he said that their prices sometimes concur with the online prices, but not always.

P.S. It now looks like the prices are back up again to the non-cag price levels :(

Just buy it online.
Is kill switch fun? I know that might be a dumb question....also is it first person? Another possible dumb question.
I bought it at the EB B&M for the same price as listed online $3.99. It's a 3rd person shooter from what I have read. I have not yet loaded it up to play. It received a 71% rating on Gamerankings.com.

According to the reviews, it depends more on shooting than stealth (like MetalGearSolid or SplinterCell).

I figgered I'd try it out for 4 bux.

Thanks again to OP.

I just received my $2 Commandos 3 and $2 Indy Jones and Emperor's Tomb and for shipping purposes, I bought a preowned DVD - Space Ace with CAG15 and Saver coupons came out to $1.69.

Looking forward to reliving my arcade days with Space Ace DVD on my XBox.

I of course checked to see if they had any updates at the time I got the game. They didn't. It was pretty soon after the release that I got it, but even then, they should have fixes for the major bugs first. Then they can work on the smaller ones later. The coders were just really horrible to release a game like that in the first place. If there's tons of bugs, they're supposed to delay the release, not go out and release it anyway. I mean, who are they, Microsoft?

Oh yes, and I ended up getting Perimiter. Thanks for the ultra cheapness OP!

I recently beat one of the campaigns in Lords of Everquest. That game is terrible, a VERY bad version of WarCraft 3. I just started playing Empires and that game is really good. I still have yet to play Deus Ex.
I wish I could find a good Adventure game. I wonder when the Longest Journey 2 will come out?
Dreamfall, the sequel to the Longest Journey is scheduled for Q3 2005.

Here's two sites with nice info on it.

http://www.tljns.tk/
http://www.adventuregamers.com/gameinfo.php?id=162

and an article from the January 2005 Edge magazine:
Page 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6

Meanwhile, have you played either Syberia game or any recent Myst? Or you could catch up on your classic Lucasarts and Sierra adventure games.

Oh, BTW, welcome to CAG.

Dreamfall is currently scheduled for end of August, according to Gamespot.

Also, I haven't tried it yet myself, but "Sherlock Holmes: Secret of the Silver Earring" has gotten some favorable reviews and is only $20. Ol'-fashioned point-n-click graphic adventure, I think, rather than Yet Another Myst Clone or some action-adventure hybrid.
Most of the games are out of stock.....Need to jump on these deals from now on.
That's the way it is with most of the really good deals. If the lurking Ebay resellers don't get them, the FatWallet guys will. You have to pounce quickly and decisively when you first see it if you want in.

I was wondering... After checking the website, are there anymore Deus Ex: Invisible War at 2.99?

Closesty price I found was about 12.99$ unless it was a typo from the OP?

They were $1.99, but the price has gone back up by now. The original post is almost a month old.

I kinda wish I got in on the $1 Empires, but I guess I don't really need it. Have too many other RTS games anyway. :p
