Haha, now they are both moved. I wonder if a mod moved Cheapy's own thread.

CAG civil war??

And I asked before, but no one answered... why dosen't Shrike post in the OTT anymore? Was there a specific reason or did he just disappear?

Good, now that I know you're awake, I am going to call you.

I'm a Stay at Home mom, and my son has an ear infection, I was up with him almost all last night, then Plume took over around 4am.
You know, I was gonna respond with "are tasty," but I didn't.
You should have. I would have laughed.

Got my PSM for 5 bucks. I was subscribed to them for like 5 or 6 years and neglected to renew but couldn't pass up on it this cheap. Most people say they dislike PSM, but I think they do a decent job.

He must just be busy with real life crap. He's been on CAG, just not for long periods of time (he just PM'ed me bout some stuff yesterday). Maybe he's got family in town. Or maybe the old fogey need hip replacement surgery.
I'm gonna put this to the test to see if a mod checks these OTT threads anymore:

Wishful thinking.

you shoulda put a pic of some hawt girl on girl action in there.

Lump me in with most people on that topic. I'd consider it for 5 bucks, although since I don't own a PS3 or PSP (just a PS2) I'd personally probably still pass.

I think OPM, PSM, XBN, and OXM have convinced me to stick to multi-platform mags.

(Satire ahead)

I think I now understand why the American industry as a whole is so adamant against having middle aged women in the workplace and pays lower salaries.

It's because they are fucking stupid whiny bitches.

mmmm leftover malai kofta *drool*

And speaking of cheap mags, Games for Windows just showed up yesterday. It's the first free sub I've tried for that actually came through. Just skimmed a few 'articles' and they read like ad copy. I guess that's why they give them away...

that's probably the second worst excuse for "NY Style Pizza" i've ever seen, right after the Dominos "brooklyn style".

a friend came to visit from Nashville last month. he had never been to NY before and the only thing he wanted to do was try a peice of real NY style pizza. needless to say, you can't eat just one.

Link to the freeness?

I wouldn't mind having GFW to compliment PC Gamer.

Anything is better than Game Informer which dedicates a whopping two pages per issue to PC games.

When I saw the ad that brooklyn style pizza, I wanted to try it. My gf, being from NY, told me how it was a waste of money, it won't be anything like NY style pizza, and it will probably be the shittiest tasting pizza of all time.

It was gross, and 1/2 the slices were just regular sized slices, you didn't even need to fold them.

It was a shitty excuse for pizza, let alone NY style pizza. They said it was a large but honestly seemed like a small. It just seemed a lot smaller than your average pizza, and it was REALLY thin too.

It's the first thing I'm going to get when I get up there.

I must have signed up for it 2-3+ months ago and have no idea where, what URL, etc. Sorry.

NY pizzas are really thin. there are 2 types. thin and droopy that need to be folded, then real italian-style that is thin and crisp enough to hold it's own. that's the BEST.

I knew some girls like that...
I knew some girls like that...

yea i think i've seen some of those.

did anyone watch "Thank God You're Here" last night? I liked Monique going off on the "skinny bitch" about not knowing what a peice of meat tastes like cuz she doesnt eat.

There is a pizza place in Richmond, VA called Bottoms Up Pizza that is pretty amazing. It's not NY style but the crust is really tasty and crisp, the sauce is to die for and ofcourse you can add whatever toppings you want. Also, I usually get ranch dressing to use w/it :D.

Only really good pizza I've ever had is at a local place called Antonio's. They make a lot of specialty types - spicy enchilada, barbeque 'n bacon, spicy chicken, etc. Great stuff.

Pomodoro's is a place local to me that makes great pie. I loved Sbarro's when I was a kid and there weren't any near me, so I'd only get it on infrequent occasions. Now I live near one and never get pizza there.

There's also a place near the national zoo that makes good pizza. Can't remember the name and it's not really NY style, but it's damn good.

I think I might go ahead and order Puzzle Quest from buy.com

Spicy enchilada? Is it owned by GMOOJ ?

Seriously though, isn't that just technically a mexican pizza?

This one from Domino's was just thin and gross.

It's hard to describe just how horrible this pizza was. I think my gf was personally insulted by it... she can't eat any pizza down here. I guess NY pizza is a curse like that, that once you have it you can't ever have a lesser pizza.

Meh I don't buy it. Even when pizza is bad it's still pretty good. (Barring Domino's and most of what Pizza Hut shovels out of course.)

I've only had one or two pizzas that I absolutely hated. I have to agree with wubb, it may not be the best pizza, but hey, it's pizza. I actually like Pizza Hut to an extent. I wouldn't choose it over a lot of the chains, but I still like it. I love Papa John's. But the local stuff tends to be the best.

being in VA, have you ever gone to Uncle Julio's Rio Grande for Mexican?
Been there a few times. There's one in Fairfax Corner near me.
is that the one that's got the pond right next to it outside?
is that the one that's got the pond right next to it outside?
Definitely a pond there and I think it is next to Julio's.

There's a PF Changs and a Coastal Flats ( ) in the center if that jogs your memory.

I don't know the specific mechanics of a Mexican pizza, but this isn't the same thing. That much I know.

Isn't Fairfax a good hike from Sugartits? How do you know about restaurants down here? :)

And I caught the first of the 2 Thank God You're Here episodes. (2nd is on the DVR.) Pretty good, but they definitely need to have good guests on it to keep it rolling.

Friggin' download got to 99.9% and the only seeder dropped out. Pissed me the fuck off.

ZOMFG, FATHER OF ANNA NICOLE'S BABY BEING ANNOUNCED OMG, SO EXxXCITED...*cough*

Not me - I have always had an ANS obsession. So much so that when her daughter was born, I told my wife: "Anna's daughter was born on my birthday and she named her Dani...coincidence?"
