Day
22.gif

High: 38°F RealFeel®: 28°F
Colder; snow, accumulating 1-2" in the morning followed by a snow shower in the afternoon
We just got snow yesterday here in MN. Damn it you white shit... go away.
Oh and I found out yesterday that Queens of the Stone Age are releasing a new cd entitled Era Vulgaris, scheduled to drop June 12th. :D
Oh yeah, it's going to be hot.

There's a studio recording of "Make It Witchu" on Era Vulgaris.

Weather was mad ninja crazy over the weekend down here.

It fucking snowed at my grandparent's. SNOWED. 4 DAMN FEET. It even stuck to the ground and my family said they could make snowmen and snow ice cream.

We even had record setting lows here (I had to stay here to take care of gf). At some point I had to go get her some food, and it was sleeting.

Unheard of around here. I was expecting frogs to rain down from the heavens.

Frozen ones.
it gets better...

"so while she was giving me a blowjob, I started thinking about how good she was, and how many guys she must've given blowjobs to to get this good, and i thought about how many other dicks have been in her mouth which grossed me out and i wasn't able to finish. She got pissed at me because i went soft after she went down on me for like 20 minutes"
Me: "So, did you get your money's worth ;)"

Friend: "...no...:cry::oops:"

I'm not supposed to be awake right now. I went to bed at 5AM, and then my fire alarm kept going off ever 20 minutes at about 7:30AM 'til now. I got a chair, ripped it off the ceiling and thought I'd be done with it and went back to bed.

Nope.

Nope.

Nope.

20 minutes later, detached it's still ringing. fucking batteries. I couldn't figure out how to open in time before the hangover in my head told me to kill it. I just threw it out my 2nd floor window. If I hear it again, I'll shoot it from up here.

You'll not need much brain power for the work. It'll be used instead to explain shit to the people who have been working there for 5 years and still don't know anything.

5 yr. employee: What'd you do with those files we gave you?
Chika: I put them away.
5er: Away? :whistle2:s
Chika: Yeah, in that file cabinet over there.
5er: How'd you know where in the cabinet to put it??
Chika: *speaking very slowly* ... they're in al...ph...be...ti...cal orrrrrrderrrrr.
5er: Well don't you know everything :nottalking:
Chika: Just the stuff they taught me in 1st grade.
5er: *Grabs one of the mountains of files from her desk and sneaks over to mystical filing cabinet*

You need to replace the battery as it is bad. ;)
Morning OTT.

My McAffee free trial shit ran out today. Whoops.
AVG or Avast. Go get one of them.
AVG or Avast. Go get one of them.
I don't see how anyone could use anything other than AVG or Avast.

That's like an internet law.

They work well enough, but hardcore users should really get something beefier/more secure, like NOD32 or Kaspersky.

Anything other than Norton, or that bloated $70 shit you buy at Best Buy.

How is Norton still in business?

What a mystery!

The free AVG version is fine, it's what I use, the one you pay for just has anti spyware stuff, and there are things like Windows Defender which do a good enough job at that.
have you guys already seen this? pics of the xbox360 elite factory and chip
I firmly believe when we see these "leaked spy photos" that they're actually taken by some PR person to help build hype.

Well, I doubt I have any spyware/adware shit going right now... so you want to point me to this as well? Might as well eradicate whatever may be looming around.

edit: Well, I could just try this, unless there's better.
Today is a gloomy day.

I hate being the only person really doing anything in a group presentation.
Group presentations = lazy teachers.

I've always hated doing things in college as a "group"... just let me do it myself, finish it quickly, and be done with it, instead of coordinating people's schedules, the people who contribute nothing, the people who never shut up and try to contribute everything (even when most of it is wrong).

Student should stand on their own merits, getting graded as a "group" is retarded.

Sixers, Google ---> Windows Defender. Not too hard ;)

I'm tired of hearing about this Don Imus shit. Totally blown out of proportion. So he called a bunch of bitches hos, big deal. He should buy them a box of tissues as his apology.

My mom got out her Magic Bullet blender...

"Did you know you can make salsa with this thing?"
"Yeah mom, I saw the infomercial"
"Oh, well you can make margaritas too"
"Yep, also covered in the infomercial..."

Although, the fruit sorbet she just made was pretty tasty.

QFT. They make such a gigantic fucking deal over that shit.

Did you get the Home Depot job? I am in dire need of coupons!

I'm a fan of PC Cillin...it's not free, but it's pretty awesome.

Wow, citigroup cutting 17,000+ jobs because of pressure from stock holders. I'm glad large corporations care more about their overall stock than their employees. I

For sixers, a free trio of protection should probably consist of AVG/Avast for antivirus, Comodo/ZoneAlarm for firewall, and a huge variety for antispyware like AdAware and Windows Defender.

Alright, thanks. Got AVG, gonna get Windows Defender in a sec here. Then I'll look into the firewall ones.

Thanks.

Stupid question about the firewall- will that fuck with my Wii being connected to the interwebz through my router?

Common sense goes out the window when alcohol is in your system.

Like your fire alarm? ;)

I just finally watched the Don Imus clip. I don't see how there's such a big deal about it. Two very passing comments, and it's all over the news. Wow.

Comodoro is a good free firewall. Used to use zone-alarm, but now I use Comodoro. I don't think it will affect your Wii unless you connect to the internet through your computer with it somehow.

Awesome. I love that infomercial!

"You can make salsa and don't even have to precut any of the veggies!!!" (Assuming you use grape tomatoes and whatever those small onions are.) That bit cracks me up.

I thought it was Comodo.
I would have stuck it in the freezer myself.
I remember one of my roommates in college left his cell phone in the room and didn't check his messages before he left. So it kept beeping and beeping AND beeping. We decided to open up his computer case, stick it inside and close up the case again. He could faintly hear the beeping when he came home but didn't realize it was his phone. By the time he realized his phone was missing the phone battery had died so we had to let him in on the joke  . Would have been better if he had actually called it and realized it was in his computer rather than us having to tell him, "hey dumbass, that beeping coming from your computer isn't ACTUALLY your computer."

Man this part of God of War 2 is really starting to piss me off. It's at the final Sister of Fate, when you have to fight wave after wave of enemies before you can even get to her. It's reminding me how much I hate Medusas and Cyclopses. I'm just glad I stopped before I decimated another of my controllers,.

I stayed over at a friend's house this one time, and the next morning his parent's alarm clark went off. I was already semi-awake, and no one else heard it, and his parents weren't home. I went to his parents room after a long while and turned it off. I was freaked out though, cuz it would be really awkward if his parents came home right as I was leaving their room.

Ordered Puzzle Quest for the DS yesterday. Pretty sure it's the type of game I'm going to be completely obsessed with.

Does anyone know if there's a way to look up all the words that have a string of text in them? What I mean is, if I wanted to look up all the words that had the letter series "elle" in it (doesn't matter whether it's the beginning, middle, or end of the word), how would I (or could I) do it?
