Loud, High-Pitched Noise Coming From Power Brick... Normal?

I've been getting a somewhat loud, high-pitched noise coming from my 360's power brick (not the system itself) and it's getting really, really annoying. Does anyone else have this problem, or is it something that I need to get fixed?

That means the ghost trap is full, you have to empty it at an ecto-containment unit. Look up your local Ghostbusters precinct and they should be able to help you.

Thats not good at all. I have no idea what that could be. But its not good.

They had a server crash but once they come back online they might have one cheap.

They have most 360 items for cheap.

Its probably the fan inside, its either clogged with dust (or blocked by an object) or failing. I'd try and have MS replace it, if I were you. Some canned air might help, though.

Normal? No way.

Talk to an MS rep, they may replace it (even if out of warranty) because they don't want bad rep about 360s burning down houses.

Maybe it fell on someone, have you checked underneath the brick? Perhaps you have a younger sibling that nobody has seen in a few days? First guess would be to move the massive power brick and check for injuries to any loved ones.

Yes, it is completely normal for a power brick to make a load high pitched noise... right before it bursts into flames.

That's not normal at all. Call MS! There is a fan in the power brick?
