woohoo!
Let me know how everything turns out!

I'm glad you guys are all happy so far.

Not only the most anticlimactic last-minute bid ever, but a failed attempt at one

I will actually attempt to play through it out of gratitude. But gratitude can only keep me away from Mario & Luigi 3 for just so long :p

Package indeed arrived, everything is awesome!

Thanks for throwing so much of the junk no one wanted, I particularly got a chuckle out of lucking into the documentary about the fake moon landing. :D

Also, I definitely didn't have an appropriate appreciation for how TINY the Micro is, haha. It's exactly the same size as my cell phone (an enV) Wow, is the picture amazing though, GBA games looks far crisper than on the DS Lite.

I know! After I packed it up I had to start playing Zero Mission on the DS. Man, I miss my Micro! It really is night and day.

Oh, and it's the same size as my cellphone too(a Rant), and smaller than my iTouch.

I kept forgetting to answer you about the FFXII World Map, but I hope you were pleasantly surprised in the opposite direction. It's pretty big.

@Chairman: You are welcome buddy! I forgot to put the GB Camera in, and it seemed like you would've won it, so...

I definitely was, it's WAY bigger than I thought it would be. I'm hanging it and the Prototype poster up tonight.

I'm still ticked at you for throwing in Fairly Oddparents though. There's no cover for it at The Cover Project so it's just sitting there on my shelf in all its cart-y glory. I had to hide it behind some cases. Damn you phoenix!!! :D

So I actually played James Pond for a while last night. I wouldn't say that it's bad, just kind of primitive and unpolished...and more than little weird. From what I gathered without a box or manual, I'm some kind of secret agent fish in a robot suit. My sole power is a neck that can infinitely stretch vertically. My mission: to liberate Santa's workshop, which is full of elves that are bound, gagged, and tied to dynamite. I kid you not.

It's a very basic platformer; some things are even ripped straight from Super Mario Bros. like blocks that reveal a rideable Yoshi-like companion (in this case, a car) and ? Blocks that you bump with your head to reveal items. And there are plenty of items. While some are in these boxes, most are scattered around the level and seemingly have no purpose other than to award you a random number of points for picking them up. And it's not just a single item over and over again like a coin, either--stuff ranging from clocks to cans of soda to basketballs are scattered everywhere. It's almost like a non-interactive Scribblenauts level with fifty random objects dumped all over the place. The developers put way more work into having a ridiculous variety of items in each level than they did with the level design or the game mechanics.

Each "world" in the game has a theme to it, like sports or stuffed animals. The platforms are fairly cookie cutter and only discernible from each other by the copy-and-paste additions of a theme-specific object like a volleyball or a teddy bear into the foreground, where they can be platformed on, or the background, where they serve to break the monotony of the dark blue background of each level. I thought from the time that I turned it on that it looked like a low budget Genesis game, and lo and behold, after looking it up it was indeed a port of a Genesis game from 1991 or so. You can't even save your game on the GBA version--you get a password!

WTF, I typed three whole paragraphs about James Pond? I really have to shut up now

Ha ha. I have no idea where I got either of those games, nor have I ever played either one. I'm guessing they were in garage sale GBA lots. I'm glad you're both so very excited about the games!

Also, and I do feel bad for this, but I feel I should say it again:

Those of you that paid just after I went to ship, I ran out of funds to front the shipping and am waiting on the PayPal to transfer to my bank account. Shipping will resume the instant the money is in my account, since the rest of you can be shipped at the APC.

I feel really bad about this, and I'm very sorry, but I'm doing my best, I assure you!

PS I still need payment from:

Chairman_LMAO
dabamus
joshingit
martinG

I think I have that same World Map for FFXII, and the one I have I loved, until god damn Akira peed all over the damn thing...
Kirb....?

You sent me that World Map after your lowball sale............

What should bvharris know about that map?
:wall:

Haha. Wow... Awkwardddd... Erm... Well, there's a wet mark or something in the upper corner, and I just blamed it on her. That's about all I can say. It COULD be kitty wee, or it could be a bit of Canada Dry. Wow. Hey guys! How ya doing?!

Also, I was wondering where it went!
I knew Gaius Baltar (my cat) was giving funny looks to the world map. I just figured he was more of a Dragon Quest fan.
Quote of the day on CAG! :applause:

And we'll even go with Eastern time so it still has another 23 1/2ish hours to soak!

You have awoken a sleeping giant. Great death and destruction will befall both the original purveyor of the cat urine as well as the shady back-alley merchant who peddled these tainted wares to an unwitting consumer.

You will know fear at HIS hands paws:

Looks WAY too friendly to be the Cthulhuian-esque creature you are making him out to be. He looks like a scratch behind the ear would save the entire worlds he supposedly "eradicated"...

Akira had that look on her face... Like she just stabbed you seventeen times with her eyes and then cleaned herself on your corpse.

There's only one way to settle this... Both cats must be shot into orbit, so their true powers will come out, and then they will have the fight to end everything. Only one will prove worthy... And as long as Akira has treats, she may, also, have the upper hand...

I will focus the low-energy beam of my mouse-shaped laser pointer square upon Akira's torso and Gaius Baltar will awaken from his epic slumber to attack her with the fury of God's own thunder. Then he will lick himself and take a nap in my clean laundry.
Sweet, thanks phoenix!

I see phoenix's thread is where all the cool kids hang out. ;)
The cool kids and their cats.

First thing I though of was

peeing all over it.

TETSUOOOOOOOO!!!
Is that the cat I'll be receiving in the mail?
No, the cat you will receive is.. Outside now. His name is Meowth and he's about the size of a Ford Focus. Fat wise, that is.

Haha, that would be MUCH harder to explain.
I don't have a cat.. guess I'm not cool enough. :[
Get on it! You'll have to name it after some nerdy sci-fi/video game/anime character and have action figure battles with it every week.

I'm allergic to cats. :[

Anyway, think I should pick up Modern Warfare 2? Only $34 after ECA and that $20 credit. Hmm..

If you guys need ECA codes.. let me know, I have a couple left that I want to get rid of so I stop purchasing games. :]
He must love that. I know I did, haha.

BTW, phoenix, just to make it official, I'll take the free shipping (duh)
:cold: I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing that youtube is blocked at work. I suppose I'll have to check this out when I get home tonight.

And Vulgarism, stop calling me!

A quick update:

The money showed up in my bank account just now, so I'll be shipping after class(after 3:20). Everybody who has not yet shipped will ship at that time, except for the sole two people I am missing payment from:

dabamus
martinG

Thanks for everybody's patience!

Stop avoiding me! I just wanna hang out! I'm open tomorrow until about 5, but I have to be home for dinner and then movie night with my dad! We get to watch Transformers 2! He said he'd let a PG-13 slide this time!

You're such an awesome guy Phoenix, I really can't wait for your next lowball.

Down the road, very much down the road. :)

woot to getting home from surgery and being on pain meds. >.< ha

Woo! Mine shipped. Thanks, homie.

Gonna be a while before it arrives here in California though.

@Troll: What'd ya get surgery for? The pills must be making you feel real good. Haha.

Well..

They cut into the area between my stomach and the twins. They cut something out of one of the twins and then they stitched up an open seal that could have caused a hernia.

Pretty much that. xD So I took two percocets before I left the hospital and I am about ready for a couple more.

*Edit* I have a picture for anyone that wants to see. xD (Yes, the privates stay covered, don't get too excited.)

Ha ha! I kinda wish I would've looked earlier!

But kinda not...

Dudes! My local Vintage Stock has started a new program! OU students(such as yours truly) now get a 20% discount off used merchandise!

Sure, sure, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I asked them today what it applied to. "Um, everything I think...", so I asked... Even video game systems?

"I'm guessing, yeah, nobody really specified that."

The current used price of a used Wii at Vintage Stock?

$159.99

What's $159.99 minus my 20% discount?

Plus tax, that comes to $138.87.......
