Lumines review up on Gamespot.com
heh, first game is already better than any DS game on the market (according to reviews)
YES! DS bashing right away! Remember, reviews don't mean everything. And it is only from GameSpot.
Launching with an addictive puzzle game is a great way to launch a portable system.
I agree, it almost convinced me to buy a psp, that's how great I thought the game looked, but the damn value pack turned me off big time, so I went with a DS instead. I'll pick up a psp later.

Great review... had it preordered/paid off at EB at $49.99 and just got $10 back today when the price dropped. Put it on preorders for Wipeout and Armored Core.

Now they just need to hurry up and drop the price on Metal Gear Acid.

Reviews don't mean everything, but getting actual hands-on time with the game does. Lumines is one of my favorite games of all time.

I kinda wish Puyo Pop was a launch game here so I can play two player matches of it on one PSP or challange my friend wirelessly.

(basically puzzle fighter without the street fighter characters.)

Oh i'm sure Lumines is great, its all I ever hear from people that have imported a PSP. I'll be getting a copy for sure at launch.

Sweet, I will buy this game for sure now. I think my top 3 titles for the PSP launch are going to be this, metal gear acid and dynasty warriors.

Heres hoping that they make enough copies so that when I buy it after a price drop, I can still get a copy.

I guess this is one of thouse games you have to play inorder to like, I watch the videos and it doesn't sell me on the game at all. it looks like a cross between Tetris and Zoo Keeper. It looks like the kind of game that should be given away free with the console.

I don't see how this game is a system seller. I wouldn't buy it alone, unless it was $20, So no way I would spend $40+ on it, let alone a system to play it on too.

Yeah that's my biggest complaint about it. I mean like you said it seems like tetris and zoo keeper (bejeweled), both of which are free online. Why would I pay $40 to play a game I can usually play for free. Who knows though? I'm not saying I'll love it or hate it its just that I don't think its very high on the list of games I'm looking at getting on launch.

Avoid AC:FF like the plague. NTSC UK mentioned one thing that turned me off hardcore- you don't fight. That's right, no shooting, running, dodging- none of the the classic staples. You program your mechs AI and watch it fight, helplessly at the sidelines. MT:A and wipeout both look good, but of all of these, I've had Lumines pre-ordered and paid since I grabbed the system.

Yeah, that's been a big feature about it since it was announced. I know some people who are still getting it regardless. They're quite excited about the game.

I have a question for you all....

What is the real price of lumines. Gamespot and EB games both have it for 49. Ubisoft's website has it for 39. o_O What's the deal?? D:

should be 39, i preordered mine in ebgames last week and they charged me 39 only

ah k finally....

When I checked over the weekend the price was 49 on both websites and at eb games store on friday it was listed at 49. I think best buy was also listed at 49 last I checked.

This will be the only psp game i get at launch because at Fye the bundle requires you to buy at least 1 game.

These prices are just plain ridiculous though & just like the DS launch i HIGHLY doubt these will be on sale anytime soon after launch.
