I picked up a discs only copy of Lunar Silver Star today at Gamestop for $26. I've just heard a lot of good things about it that I had to get it.

Too bad it's incomplete, though.

Good job. I owned the game once and the extras aren't worth the extra money. You've got yourself an awesome game :)

Thanks man.

I remember when my brother bought it and was amazed by all the crap that came with it. I remember trying to play it for a few minutes one day, but didn't spend enough time with it to really get into the story.

So this time around, I'm really excited to finally get to play it.

They are worth having if you don't have to pay the extra money, though. Most used game stores will charge the same whether it is complete or not. The hard part is tracking down the complete version that someone was willing to trade in for $4 (that is a guesstimate/exaggeration).

great game! one of my favorites for the PS1. i really regret selling it to EB a few years ago. had all the extras too, dammit...

Lunar in my mind is the best traditional RPG I've ever seen. From the time I put the first disc in my Playstation my Sophomore year of college, no other game got any playtime until I finished it. It took me 28 hours, including levelling up into the 90s, and finding all the bromides. I was and still am extremely happy with the game.

ah, the bromides... man that was some good stuff.

I'm here! Are we talking about the best game ever?? Oh, I see we are! Congrats on picking this up; I hope you enjoy it. It is my favorite game of all time! I remember buying my first copy (discs only, from funcoland) quite some time ago. Hell, I only bought my PS1 for Lunar! Now, I own four complete copies, along with my discs only copy!
