locked in the mortgage rate today - 5.25% after 2 points. Stupid rate jump last week, would've been 4.75 then but couldnt lock yet.

By the time I could rate lock, the mortgage jumped 0.375%. I was told I'd be contacted within two days by the lawyers to arrange the closing. Fast forward. Closing is next Wednesday. Rate went up another .125% in the meantime.

Yup, i have a little more time (July 9th) that i could have played with - but i didnt really want to risk it moving up anymore.

I also like the headline up top that reads "E3's Lone Porn Star Is Eyeing a Wii" with an awful picture of some third rate porn star covered in mud(?) posing with that corny guy that owns the site. *shudders*

However, I shudder to think at using the heart-rate-monitor thing for anything OTHER than an actual fitness wii fit type game. :|

The 'fro is fake, watch Dave Chappelle's Block Party, it falls off.

Rip doesn't wear it out of fear, he broke his face and was wearing it when they won the finals, now it's his good luck charm.

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to have to have major surgery on my nose.

The Pistons' All-Star guard began wearing the clear plastic mask that would become his trademark during the 2003-04 season. His nose had been broken twice that season (it happened once before in 2002) and Hamilton was advised to wear the mask the rest of his career or risk significant nasal reconstructive surgery. Wearing the mask on a nightly basis, Hamilton led the Pistons in scoring as they marched to the NBA title.

Just sent my resume to a law firm for a job i saw on craigslist, i hope i hear from them, it's a perfect fit for me.

FFS, it's not MMA. It's not even boxing, hockey, or football. Basketball isn't a violent sport. I can understand wearing it while he's recovering. But continuing to wear it because it's a good luck charm and it's your trademark? The dude probably makes more per game than most MMA fighters make per year -- he should be able to risk a broken nose for $10,000+ a game (or whatever the hell extorion money the average NBA player pulls in per night these days). *shrug*

Is he on your monkeylist? It's been broken so many times he risks facial reconstruction surgery. Did you not see the elbow Dwight Howard dropped on Courtney Lee? Fractured his entire sinus cavity, and it was his own damn teammate, imagine the damage that could be done if there was ill will involved.
