For the most part EA has different teams doing their last gen stuff. The 360/ps3 is done together, but Wii will be another team, and ps2/xbo180 would be another team. While I don't know specifics about Madden, it is possible the ps2 and 360 are quite different. The 360 and PS3 should be very similar, and would share code (including phsysics stuff).
