My kid has been sick. I think my brother played fable II this weekend on my 360 so sorry if he ignored a game invite, my bad. I will be avaliable on monday after 6pm
 
Hey just a suggestion but it's a longshot..as I was looking upon pitfallharry's record. He is 1-9....i'm just saying maybe next season or a new league for CAG maybe the team with the worst record gets 1st dibs on choosing a team. Ya know since we dont have a draft here might as well use that system to select teams for next year or a new league when this ones over.

Thats not bad. That is not bad.


But. It posses huge problems in people loosing games on purpose so they can get a better team next year. Also you would still have to some how reward the people winning for......winning.

It would just be unfair if lets say, The Phillys owner wins the superbowl but then gets the Eagles taken away by a 1-16 team.


But I like the idea...that is if we ever even get this league done and start another one.

Yeah. Also, the Broncos and Vikings are good teams, but apparently n8 and I are awful :)

Haha...I'm just messing with you Azu. I think if I played with the Vikings, I'd lose big everytime as well.;)

Got a game in with TheUMX last night. Colts win 24-14 which brings me to 2-1. I'll get a hold of a few other people over the week to get more games in.
 
Maybe do something where there's a team draft, picking order is chosen randomly but is weighted based on how poorly someone did in the league. Think the NBA lottery.
 
But then this is assuming the same people who are in this league will play next year, which is asking a lot. It's hard enough getting through one season, let alone carrying results over to the next.

I'm not sure how to do the score for the second game as we mercy'd it. I think I was up about 16-0 when he decided to do it.

Should put me at 5-4 now.

I have now played 7 games.
It is nice to see 12 people at or past the 7 game milestone, with a couple more with six and more with 5.

Im at 8 games. I am not going to go out of my way to play any more games until we know where this league is going that is unless someone contacts me and sets up a time to play.

I am just going to say it again. Nov 1 I have a 13 day gig so I will be ghost until Nov 15th so I need to get my games in now.

I can play one of our two games (Packers) at 10 Pacific- maybe a little earlier, maybe a little later- basically, whenever the Lakers game ends.

I'm in California. You said you could play any time tonight, and I'm going to the gym, probably getting home at 9, then watching the rest of the Lakers game, so after it ends is when I'll be available. I guess that's a no.

If it was 6:40 when you made that post, and you're on Eastern time, then if the Lakers game does indeed end at 10, it would be 1 A.M. Eastern time when I could play.

LOL...go back to school. As you said...3 hours BEHIND. Meaning his 9pm is your 12am (aka midnight). Your 6:40 is his 3:40. You got the formula right, but the math backward.

For the record, when I said, "Jamaican me crazy" in an earlier post, it wasn't meant in a derogatory way. It was a line Mike Adamle frequently used when then-ECW wrestler Kofi Kingston was wrestling, and I always liked it.

Dont worry about it.

I can always tell the difference between people just joking like you did which is fine.

But when dumbasses like N8te want to actually make "fun" of me they should really try to use something more original than a Jamaican joke since they get said all the time.

Half of these people have me on ignore and they just pick up little snips about me being Jamaican then try to take it out of context.

Its a easy to see a guy who isnt clever enough to think of something on their own.

The first half had clear weather. After we restarted, the field was covered in snow. It was a competitive game overall. Good game, BigAT.

GG-This was a defensive game throughout. Once I got that TD on the punt return I played super conservative. I didn't want to turn the ball over to give you chance to get back in the game. Giants score again to make it 14-3 with a short drive capped off by a Derrick Ward screen pass. With about one minute to go in the 1st half Michael Johnson of the GMen picks off a warner pass in the flat for a 20yard td scamper. Overall Giants get two TDS on defense and on offense take care of the ball except for an INT on a deep pass on a good play by the Arizona corner.

Madden is all about turnovers if you take care of the ball you can usually win the game.

Total offense was almost even. Giants had 125 yards while Arizona had 126 but the Gmen defense and special teams won this game for us.

I'm waiting till November first. Anybody who doesn't have 7 games done is getting axed.
Im turning it into a tourney or a Madden League of sorts, but it depends on how many people are left.
I mean, if there are 28 people left (yeah right!) we'll keep the league.
It certainly isnt' dead though, it'll just be changing.
