Damn, my apologies, it seems the Eagles are taken by somebody who I completely forgot took the spot.
Would you take the Rams? I know they suck but at least they have a running back and a couple receivers...

Hey hey...don't knock the Rams. They're terrible in real life, but they've got some weapons in this game. I'm 3-0 in Jagged's league with them. Jackson is a beast, Bulger is pretty damn accurate, and Torry Holt isn't quite as injury prone in a video game, haha. They've also got a reasonably quick defense. They might not be The Greatest Show on Turf anymore (I miss Marshall :whistle2:(), but they can still do some things.

There you go, TheGift. They're good in the game! You'd have an 0-2 record, but there are 14 more games, so it really doesn't matter.

Look at my situation. I remember this past weekend you said he will make a CAG account and what not but it's already Tues. and it's cause of reasons like this (ppl quitting and picking up teams) is why I almost abandoned this league. hahah ok, so I'm confused as heck. so I didn't get the Chargers or the Eagles, that I understand. So I'm back to the Seahawks right? or do I have the Rams? Given the choice between the two, I'd probably go with the Seahawks because I'm more used to them, and I've already earned my record of 1-1, but if I'm stuck with the Rams then I'll try to work with that. Sorry for all this confusion, but just let me know who I have.

Jags defense did a good job forcing Trent Edwards into early turnovers which forced the Bills to go away from their strong running game. GG Franky

Yeah the early turnovers helped me have a strong ground game for pretty much the entire game. Garrard was solid passing and I was able to control the ball for the most part. Good game man.

In fact I dont blame anyone who drops out of the league. This game is pure fucking trash and I understand how you can just be fed up with it and want to trade it in.

Now I wont....at least until after this league. I might not play a 2nd season with you guys but I am at least going to finish this one. But god damn, this game sucks on so many levels. Every time I put this game in I hate it a little more there are so many problems with it.

On 3rd down cats are running through my defense like cheddar. Which would be fine but it has nothing to do with play calling or personal, I am watching my linemen just simply move out of the way. I am watching my DB just stand around looking at WR.

This is my first madden since 05 and the same shit that was wrong in that game is still wrong in this one.

Bottom line is this. I am sorry for anything I said to the people who have dropped out. Oct is such a huge month of actually GOOD games I can see why you would want to trade in this shitty one. I just cant wait to NBA 2k9 and Fifa 09 you know games that actually play like the real life counter parts.

All I am saying is that I understand and cant be mad at anyone who just trades this game in.

I am going to wait to the league is over and that pretty much only because I have a lot of extra money this month so I can still get all the games I want.

I wouldnt just ditch the league.....but I completely understand. To many good games coming out that are actually good and fixed their problems to be wasting time with bullshit 09.

I will say this though. Its only week 2 in real life and week 3 and our league and we are having a shit ton of problems. Unless we make some type of change I cant see this going the entire 16 weeks. Thats just my opinion though.

Yes NCAA is so much better in so many ways!! Most of all...... stat tracking and having to fight over recruits kicks so much ass!!! Plus, its a lot easier to meet in one place to play games. I'm sorry again to leave you guys hanging but between my 4 NCAA online dynasties and Pure I had to say bye bye to Madden :cool:
 
I'm gonna have to push back my game with Franky either Friday afternoon/early evening or Monday if that's ok. I'm totally slammed. Week 4 is a bye for me anyway, so I won't get too far behind.

Yeah, except for EA being too lazy to include FCS schools (especially one that has won 3 straight championships and pulled off the biggest upset in the history of college football) in its "next gen" game 3 years in a row, NCAA is much more realistic...not to mention its own problem with missed tackles :roll:

I responded to that just now. Thursday afternoon (Pacific time) would be optimal, otherwise it will likely have to wait till Monday as I have a busy weekend.

Azu- I had the same problem I had with you, but with ItlnStln this time. You 2 are the only ones I have had problems connecting with, but regardless, the problem is likely on my end. I cannot change the NAT from moderate to open.

I was on the phone with Verizon for 2 hours and the problem could not be resolved. Their internet service is far superior to the Time Warner cable I had before in most respects, but this issue is pissing me off. I apologize to all users for the delay.
 
Thanks for letting me know. I can always sim the game (which is hopefully what Jagged will do for our game) OR I can give you a win this week and he can have the win for next week.

To the Eagles and Ravens owners I will be able to play later tonight after 10:00pm est and not again till Monday after 5:00pm. I have a really busy weekend and upcoming week with my son's first birthday and two Penguin pre-seaon games to go to.

Great game, about as close as it's going to get. Seattle was driving down the field to win it and ended up on the 1 yard line trying to get to the line and spike it as time expired. Crazy ending.

Miami's front seven dominated the game with 4 sacks on Warner and tons of QB hurries and stuffed runs. Two stalled redzone attempts doomed an anemic Cardinals offense.

Incredibly frustrating game for me, I think I was really feeling the Rams' lack of talent this game. Very good game by Phi though.

Theme of the game was ball control for the Bills. Lynch was able to churn for 98 yards and a touchdown through the St. Louis line thus keeping the potent Rams offense on the sidelines. The Bill's secondary was torched twice by Bulger with WR Donnie Avery hauling in two touchdown passes for a total of 120 receiving yards on the day.

i lost my game against Detroit for week 3, but I guess he didnt report it yet. I think the winner should report the game scores, cus it sorta sucks when you have to post that you lost :)

That means The Gift will likely take over the Eagles, and he is as legit as they come.
ALSO, while I never replied to Hybrid (SORRY) continuing for 2 Q's at 14-10 is a good idea.
If you can manage a full game without it disconnecting just scratch the previous score and use that one.

So, with The Gift getting the Eagles (I'll wait for him to confirm) the Seahawks are open.
Who wants them?
