Madden 09 League-Congratulations Soodmeg!

Alright so me and Sj41 actually tried to play our game last night.

2 disconnects later and its still not done. God damn EA servers suck ass. We were up to like 1 am playing and couldnt finish the game.


Also on a completely unrelated note...they should study the phenomenon that is playing a solid game and winning handily only to have the game disconnect. Then upon restart not being able to do a god damn thing and getting your ass kicked.

I was winning the first game 14-0 and had 3 INT in the first half then it disconnects. Upon restart I could do a thing to stop him and was shut out for most of the game until it again....disconnected.

Oh yeah, I remember when I started a "serious league" and came up with all these ways for people to prove themselves but then wound up being one of the first to bail on it after only a month. Hello Mr. Irony. :roll:
 
Alright PM sent and havent gotten anything back yet.

Though I am pretty sure he said he had to go out of town. Hopefully we can get it in today.

From the 2 disconnects the score was 14-14. So maybe a sim game with those added scores?
 
Yeah, the servers sucked a couple nights ago. And I was garbage in that first game. Somehow everything started clicking in that second game and I would've won that game if I had stayed on that roll and the game didn't disconnect. But then again, you would've won the first game since I was just feeding you interceptions for no reason.

We're going to try again in about 10 minutes, Azu. Sorry we couldn't get it in sooner.

Good game and the score doesnt show how close it was. All those points game in the late 3rd to 4th QRT.


One note on the game. Ed Hockley (sp) showed up and robbed me of a TD in the first. I throw a lob fade route to Heath Miller and he clearly catches it 4 yards away from the back of the end zone. But due to maddens horrid programming he for some reason refused to put his foot down after the catch.

What happened was this. I saw that it was going a sideline catch and since i know the WR have no sideline catch animations I pressed down to keep him in bounds. That caused a change in moementum animation that somehow carried my guy 4 yards before he cut plant his foot out of bounds.

BigAt- tomorrow is possible but if I don't get the game in tomorrow nite its looking iffy until Sunday nite since I have thanksgiving getaway plans. I will try to get home before 930 est but I anticipate a big day @ office tomorrow.

hahah sorry about not being on, I've been busy working like 6 days a week, and then there was thanksgiving break when I was out of town. I was waiting for The rock to message me and let me know when he wanted to play since we started a game, and then it d/c and I took care of some other stuff after that. We were suppose to play the following day but I didn't catch him on Live, and hadn't heard from him since. I got pitfall's message today, and saw that I lost by default, I was gonna be upset but I realized i"ve been MIA and Azu even said that he'd give me a pass since he knew I was busy. Really appreciate that man. Well Pitfall, I'm working straight till Saturday Night, so we can definitely play Sunday, or anyday this week after 1130pm PST, because thats when I get home from work. To The Rock, wish we coulda played man, we had a good game started, but take the freebie, and maybe we'll meet up again.
 
Ivan, are you going to be around tonight? I was hoping to get our game in tonight or tomorrow because I won't be around much (if at all) the rest of the week.

Soodmeg, Friday would be the best day for me since I have an exam at 7 pm est. So how about Friday at 7 Pm est. I tried to send you a PM, but since you are silenced you can't receive any PM's. So hopefully when you come back to this forum you will see this message.

Pretty close game till the second half, Ben was just picking apart the Redskins defense and Parker was doing a great job of eating up the clock and falling forward. Going into the final seconds of the game with the score 28-15 and the game in hand, Coach Mike Tomlin decided to kick a field goal to cover the spread. In the post game conference Tomlin defended his actions by saying, "I'm RICH BEEATCH".
