If this gets setup for today or tomorrow then we should have no problem advancing sometime Friday evening. I'm playing my game vs the Chiefs at 9AM tomorrow :drool: haha, NOT looking forward to it. Maybe he's trying to catch me literally sleeping.

I messaged everyone with vs CPU games on XBL so they know the plan and can get their game in.

Also, anyone know where the Steelers went? I want him to get back in after the temp boot if he wants to but he really seems MIA as of late.

Jeez, that was way closer a game than I would have hoped.

Pacer just moved the ball effectively on me the entire game. No matter what I tried, I couldn't stop LaSean McCoy, 11 receptions out of the backfield. My defense was tired the entire game, as time of possession was a ridiculous 15:32 to 4:28 in the Eagles' favor.

My offense wasn't even bad or anything, I just never had the ball. I think I ran like 10 total offensive plays the entire game.

I didn't help myself when I finally generated my first turnover late in the game. I hit Kolb as he was passing and Mathias Kiwanuka intercepted it. I saw I had some fast secondary players behind me, so I went to lateral it to one of them, unfortunately Kiwanuka threw it right to one of the Eagles O-lineman who grabbed it right out of the air. Thankfully Bruce Johnson managed to make up for that mistake, and intercepted a pass later in the drive that he returned for the game winning touchdown.

GG Pacer. Both of his touchdowns were offensive by the way.

Hey sorry, I literally just woke up 20 minutes ago...final exams really screw up my sleeping habits. My last exam was yesterday so I'm done with college and have absolutely nothing to do for the next several days. The only conflicting possibilities come from the fact that I live with 3 other guys who are obsessed with MLB '10 The Show, so it's practically impossible to ever find the TV unoccupied. In the past, I've usually come up with a specific time with my opponent to play so I could give my roommates a heads-up for what time I'd need the TV for. I won't really be able to just log onto Live regularly to look for you, so just let me know of any specific time you can play (any time at all tonight or tomorrow would be fine).

FYI to everyone, we'll advance around 6:30-7pm EST tomorrow when their game wraps up. If you have a vs CPU game left you should have gotten a PM or XBL message (or both haha) from me about getting your game in asap.
 
Alright, I should be able to make that. The only concern I have is that I'm supposed to be seeing Iron Man 2 tomorrow afternoon. My friends said we're shooting for the 2:30 showing, but it seemed pretty flexible as in we might end up seeing the one after that. One of them has a final exam at noon tomorrow so we don't really know how long that's gonna take. I'll be able to give you a better idea sometime tomorrow afternoon. I'll try and post something on here right before we leave for the movie. If you don't hear anything from me, just go ahead and assume I can make it at 6, but if I don't show up by around 6:15 then you guys can go ahead and boot me this week and have him play the computer since I guess everyone is waiting on our game.

I'm not in a specific rush for 6:30-7pm tomorrow to advance. If find yourself unavailable at 6 and the Lions don't mind rescheduling for a later time that night, then I have no problem waiting 2, 3 whatever hours.

However, yeah, if you can't make 6 and he doesn't want to/can't wait around we can go ahead and do the temp boot thing at 6:15 and knock the game out.

Rough game for the Chiefs. He drove on me easily the first time down the field, but threw a pick six and it all went downhill from there. 3 more picks (a second one for a TD), a fumble recovery for a TD and Shonn Greene running all over the place didn't help either. I think the final was 55-3. :/
 
Alright just a quick update...it looks like we're gonna be going to an even earlier showing than we originally planned, so it looks like I'm definitely good to make it for 6:00 EST.

Not the biggest blow to my team as I think I can use LT in the running game more in spots where I used Leon, but I had to pick up an old friend off the waivers so I had someone to return kicks. Justin Miller resigns with the Jets. Welcome back.

Another undefeated bites the dust.

God that game was frustrating. It felt like no matter what I did, I wasn't supposed to win that one. Weird stuff was going against me all game.

Cowboys missed a game tying field, giving me the ball back with the lead and about a minute left in the game and the Cowboys only had a timeout or two. So what happens on the very first play I run? Naturally, something like this. Ugh.

Yea it was kind of like those Tecmo Bowl games in the past when the CPU was giving no chance to win. Although it could have been worse there was some tipped balls I couldn't get too.

Oh and best believe i was jamming on LB like a madman for that fumble

looking at your int totals I'm shocked I didn't throw five. Although I made an effort to avoid your CBs and throw to receivers covered by Linebackers. I got lucky you didn't pick some throws I forced into checkdowns. I found with Romo he seems to throw better outside the pocket

I guess I roughed him up just enough last week to be finished off, Lmao. Also I've got a question, is there any rules against anything like moving a Defensive Player to a Different Position? IE an OLB to DE? Just wondering.

Rival Buffalo Bills came to town and New England Rolled to a 52-9 Victory, The New England Defense played tough allowing 9 Points, 2 Interceptions and 3 Forced Fumbles along the way. Brady went 29 for 45 Throwing close to 500 Yards, 6 Touchdowns (23) to 2 Interceptions (15) Leading Receiver was Randy Moss with 9 Receptions for 299 Yards (937) and 3 Touchdowns (7) Jerod Mayo was Player of the Game with 2 Tackles, 2 Interceptions (6) and a Fumble Recovery and 71 Yard Touchdown Return. New England moves to 7-2 on the Season and Gains a Win in the Division. The Cleveland Browns (4-5) Come to town this week.

Alright Packers, I think you're the one with the nocturnal lifestyle like me, so we shouldn't have too much trouble setting up a time for our game. I can do any time at all tomorrow except for maybe 7:00 to 10:00 cause my parents are driving up to eat dinner sometime between then. I can stay up as late as you want though, so let me know what time is good for you. I probably won't wake up tomorrow until like 3:00 p.m. though, so I'm sorry if I don't respond before then.

I don't see why there would be, especially since the Online Franchise does this by default at times. I have an OLB playing DE.

Also, what's the best way to contact the Chiefs? I play them in Week 11 after my bye.

I think as long as its in realistic reason then I don't see the problem with it. In a draft league I did they started my Olb as De and in this league Gholston (former de who is reconverting back this offseason) is my 1st guy off the bench to spell both DEs.
 
As for the Chiefs, I think he's getting temp booted this week and I would be surprised if he made it back. I'm good friends with the guy and had to send multiple text messages just to setup a time.

Sorry, Eastern time zone...I'm heading out right now for a little bit, I'll probably be back sometime around 12:00-1:00 EST, so if you want we could play our game at 1:00 unless it's too late for you...I won't be able to check these boards til I get back and I know that's really short notice, just tell me what time works for you either late tonight or sometime tomorrow night.
