Plenty of people don't care about rosters and the slight tweeks they make to the game each year. They are just looking for a game to play. $10 is definitely not too bad.
 
Consider getting Madden 10 from gohastings instead, and use the $5 coupon GHWES1210. Net price including shipping and taxes was $7.86 for me.

Get it from Best Buy, you get the activation code. Used is a crap shoot.
 
What did the new Madden add? $10 seems like a good deal, can some madden expert give some info? Which one has better coop?

For roughly a $3 difference, is it really worth taking a chance on a used game (coming complete) and the online pass; sure a used copy could come with it unused, but chances are it wont. With a new copy, you get the online pass.

Lmao I know people are really in to getting the new one each year but really its not such a big deal...I picked up 09 for less than $5 and I'm totally ok with it... probably the next one im gonna get is Madden12 in like 2014 ahaha ;)

Guys... read and think before typing! Madden 10 does NOT have an online code... that was something that started new with the 2011 sports games!
 
So have they shut down the servers for this game yet? Or do i have to pay an extra 10 bones to play online?

It took me 5 years of buying Madden every year (2001-2005) to realized that it's just not worth it. This is a very tempting deal, though. I'm trying to hold out for Madden '12 because my team (St. Louis) won't be complete crap in it.
