Madden 10 (PS3/360) $51 Shipped at Sports Authority

Thanks very much. I'll probably go with Toys R Us, though still undecided if I should hold out on it for a $40 sale week.

Just an FYI, right now it's $54.99 @ Amazon.com with release date delivery and a FREE $10 Gift Card. Better deal IMO.

I think you only get the gift card if you have an ECA membership? I just checked and there was no mention of a free gift card on Madden.
didn't they say 3-4 weeks with the si deal
I called SI and they said 6-8 weeks and I said no thanks. Toys R Us or Amazon probably has the best deal if you don't want to wait too long.

It's right there on the screen on Amazon, you don't even have to scroll....

This is the 360 version, btw. It's there.

The free gift card has nothing to do with ECA, it's eligible to anyone who buys madden on amazon. It's also not hard to find on the page.

"Order your copy of Madden NFL 10 by 8/17/09 and get a $10 Amazon.com Gift Card. One offer per household. Limited to products shipped and sold by Amazon.com.

Thanks a lot guys. I checked back and saw it there, I think I was looking at Rock Band 2 when I looked.

So I think I'm going to do this deal and probably sign up for ECA for 10% off since I'm going to be using a $10 gift card anyway.

they write the following:
"Your subscription includes EA Madden NFL 10 and the complete NFL Films feature documentary "John Madden: The Road to Canton". Your subscription will start with the 08/24/09 issue. The national release date of the video game is August 14th. No games will ship before then. After the national release date, your gifts will ship as soon as your credit card order is approved and processed.

From the phrasing of this I interpret it to mean they will charge my credit card this month and also ship this month. I'm banking on it being here in the next couple weeks around the time I get my first issue of the magazine, but I could be wrong.

Notice they don't specifically say an ETA, they just say it'll ship when your order is approved. It also says "Your first issue will arrive 1-3 weeks from receipt of order." So they definitely take their sweet time processing your order.

Either way, what the rep told me was 6-8 weeks and I don't think he had any reason to lie to me either. EA probably figures they'll make their money in the first month or so and give SI cheaper priced copies so they can ship them out during the 2nd month of release. Seems logical to me, and that's why SI can afford to offer this deal. Let me know if you get your game before then.
