Madden 10 "The Replacements" The Ingural Season, completed!

^I was not able to adjust the schedule or limit the total teams in the league. The only way I can see to fix that is having a full league or having everyone stay in 2 divisions.

Not complaining, just thought it was kind of funny. The live draft was fun, and I'm playing my first game now. Thanks for setting this up!
 
If its against the CPU go right ahead, otherwise please contact your opponent.

I am assuming since you have already drafted that it is too late to join. I would be happy to pick up on of the cpu teams if this is an option. Let me know. Thanks.
 
Teams are available; by clicking the franchise link in the OP you should be able to view the teams, if you have setup you EA Sports online account.
 
I had neither the inclination nor the patience to set draft rankings for 1,500 players, but man, my offense sucks. Daunte Culpepper and Jon Kitna at QB? Am I the Detroit Lions?

CPU would have given you Leinhart, but I picked him as my backup. It almost seemed like the CPU picked based on BPA not positional balance.
 
Eh, Leinart's got the same overall as Kitna, anyway.

Did you put the difficulty on Pro? My game was remarkably easy, as I destroyed the CPU most of the game and only gave up one TD that resulted from a drive rather than me turning the ball over.

Well you my friend are better than me. I lost 16-14 to the cpu. Oh the shame!!! And I believe the setting is all pro. Man I used to only play on Madden level and would spank the cpu. I guess that's what happens when you loose time being a stupid grown up. I would have won if Ted Gin Jr. hadn't fumbled a routine kick return in the fourth quarter!!!!!

It is on all-pro. I got royally spanked. I haven't played the game in about 3 years so I guess that is what I should have expected. Hope I don't stink up the league. Promise I will get better with time though.
 
I beat the Ravens 28-14. The only reason they scored twice in the 4th was because I was talking to my friend while playing. My pass defense was a beast; Rodgers-Cromartie, Posluszny, and Vasher all had 2 INTs each.
 
Thatdarkknight & Static Puff contact each other here and on XBL; please play your games asap so we can advance the schedule. Shinryuu if you could play your game as well that would be appreciated.

No problem. Just wanted to play some ranked games for practice. I'll be able to do it before noon PST.

EDIT: Won my game 20-17 on a FG kick with less than 10 seconds. Btw, no acc. clock? =[ Also, I think it's funny I have 3 starters on offense with the number 12. Haha.

Brett Favre is signing a one year deal with the Vikings!!!! What are we going to do with Free Agency? Vick and Favre will probably be better than at least 10 starters out there. Also are we carrying over our current teams if we finish this season successfully or are we re drafting?
 
Too bad this got started when I was camping for a few days, completely missed it and I would have joined. Oh well.
 
I can post some of the available teams up if that would be of interest. With regards to currents FA's EA already mentioned it would not update franchises in-progress. For Season 2, I think it would be best to re-draft but if the majority felt otherwise I would have no problem staying with the current teams.

Clock accel. would shorten things greatly for 5 minutes not something I'd like; are others wanting 7 minutes with clock accel. instead?
 
I'm in the process of updating the OP this afternoon with the available teams.

Maybe it would be easiest to just send me an invite to the league. I can easily check out the rosters that way and figure something out.

Can't you determine how many seconds accl. clock burns off? 6 or 7 minutes with accl. clock sounds good to me, but you might wanna get everyone else's opinion.
 
Picking the redskins. Also noticed I only have 7 CPU teams compared to some others. This...could get interesting.
 
That's what I was thinking when browsing around last night. Considering some teams already played their games for the week but still show up as 0-0 for the year.
 
Heartbreaker of a loss. 21-14. I made a final push and came about 10 yards away from scoring to try and send it to OT. Considering I haven't played Madden since 06, I'm not doing too bad though. I just give up too many big plays. One was...I think a 60 or 70 yard pass while the other was an interception for a touchdown. For 99 freaking yards. *sigh*

@seen - You may want to edit the redskins out of the first post seeing how I picked them up last night.
 
I had a rough go of it in week 1 as well, but with a better result thankfully.

I somehow managed to overcome four interceptions by Jason Campbell and two fumbles lost by other players, including one that was returned for a touchdown. The offense finally got clicking and I was able to produce two touchdowns in the last four minutes of play, including one with just 32 seconds left to put me up 4. An Asante Samuel interception that was returned for a touchdown in the finals seconds sealed the deal for me.

Apparently all the whole "no more tequila" thing actually works.

I don't really know what happened on that play. I think he had a guard or tackle that had pulled and was plowing the way for him. It wasn't pretty.
 
So xxxplosive1 is holding us up; deja vu...If he does not respond within the next hour, does anyone object advancing to week 2 anyway? He joined the other day and I told him to play his game asap; he has not checked his xbl or cag for over 24 hours...
 
I'm all about keeping things chugging along steadily. If he had a chance to play and didn't, oh well.
 
We've advanced to week 2, Lions surprisingly pulled out a close win with Sanchez getting the game MVP honors. That aside this looks to be better than the first week; we have 3 head to head games!

Hey JStryke we have a game this week. We can link up anytime after 8 pm Fri-Sunday if possible. If that doesn't work for you throw out a time I'm flexible.

And yeah you got bit by the big play I looked at your stats and wondered how did this guy loose. Don't worry though I haven't really played in years and haven't been able to practice since my mom is visiting. But I guarantee one of us will get our first win!:D
