I'm feeling like simming tonight unless someone is working to get the game done to which I could wait, otherwise we will be advancing later tonight.
 
Ok so I played the 2-8 Gmen and it was a terrible experience. First off I somehow got the setting of basic play calling... so the CPU called all my plays. I couldn't run the offense I wanted or the defensive sets I run. So that threw my game off right from the get go... I threw 4 interceptions and two of them were run back for TD's. Luckily there offense was bad. My D stopped them the rest of the game and I ended up winning by 7. How does that happen that its basic play calling and then I couldn't change it when I was in game? anyone else experience that?
 
We've advanced to week 14, thanks to everyone for getting your games' in. Looking to advance us to week 15 by Saturday afternoon at the latest.

If you're interested I'm sure they're will be openings for season 2, however this season I am not accepting any new members since we are past the halfway point and in a close wildcard race.
 
Great suggestions pitfallharry219, we will be sticking to 16 teams.

Galego23 and jaym are on the chopping block to come back for next season as their lack of communication with their opponent/commitment to getting games played makes me question if this is the right league for them. I'm sure you both are great guys but I want this league to continue with dedicated players. If Madden is a "once a week" type game for you then I suggest you enjoy the other Madden League, CAG has to offer.

Just played the worst game ever. I threw so many picks because of this one play but I was stubborn and kept running it.

GG static.

All of those pick sixes came from me seeing a guy wide open in running up the sideline but when I threw the ball it would always be thrown slightly toward the middle instead of the sidelines. Those are suppose to go either 10 yards out of bounds or right on target. I shouldnt have ran it but the guy was so wide open every time.

Ah well.

Also, seen, when did you want to get our game in? I'm going to TRY and get some job apps tonight (plus supposed to rain and thunder the rest of the night?) so I don't see myself turning the xbox on tonight, and moving the pool table out tomorrow and might hit town that afternoon depending. Expecting to be back that evening some time. So anytime Friday will work for sure (after I wake up) and Thursday night (possibly evening as well). EST.
 
Seeing as I'm hoping to fill apps out tonight (plus the storm I mentioned), I'd rather do it tomorrow night sometime. I've been putting these job apps off long enough already. >_>
 
You'll probably be able to join once we've wrapped up the season; I am the Raiders already. I will be working on figuring on which teams are the best for next season to ensure the most H2H games possible.
 
If we are taking team reserves early for next year, would it be possible to be the dolphins by chance, or no? Not a big deal really, but being a fish fan and having some (what I think are neat) ideas for before / after games, it could be interesting. :razz:
 
I will deal with team sign-ups and available openings when the season is over, until then were are still in season 1. If you are interested please check back in towards the end of the playoffs.
 
I haven't heard back from Galego. If it comes down to booting him or simming my game, boot him. I'm in the hunt for a playoff spot. I can't leave my games up to chance. I know you said he's had some communication problems so far, and this doesn't seem to be any different.

Anyways, for our match, not sure how long you'll be around tonight (got home around 7 but watched the beginning of the Philly game until they cracked it wide open), but seeing as I just got on the comp, I should be ready to go about an hour from now (11). Still need to do my xbox update as well, so not sure if that may delay me or not.

Anthem just pm'd me he said his game is going down around 9PM CST (Thats 7PM PST/10PM EST) so sometime shortly after we will advance. If he plays it earlier, I'll advance it then if I'm around.

After I sent you those messages which just warranted a "yes or no" answer, you went on to switch video games then played a game of Madden vs someone online. You never posted here or pm'd me to defend yourself before now; what am I to think?

You're so full of shit. I PM'ed you yesterday at 4 pm. I saw you online here a few different times before you finally PM'ed me here on CAG at 9:33 this morning. As far as I know, seen booted you last night, so it was a little too late to try to schedule a game with me.

And I never got a message from you on Live, so shut the fuck up about that.
 
XXXplosive, any chance you'll be around tomorrow to get our game in? I would prefer to do it early, definitely before the Rutgers game at 3:30.

All I have to say about this game is this.

Steven Jackson offensive player of the year/borderline MVP 1785 Yards 30 TDs

Adrian Wilson Defense player of the year/the nearest a Defensive player can get to MVP. 47 Tackles 12 INT 5 Forced Fumbles 3 TDs
 
Now that's what we call a good game. While nobody had a big day outside of LJ with 103 yards rushing, the skins defense limited the Giants to 104 yards total offense with 0 points (plus 2 missed FGs). Wins like these are the ones that make you feel good. Even if it is against the CPU. Also, 0 FUMBLES. :razz: (only seen will get that reference).
 
I lost my game against the CPU (Colts), 17-14 in OT. Wind and rain definitely a factor.. and I was stupid to choose the defend option on teh coin flip that meant me kicking against the wind.

Crap, I might slip from the playoffs. =[
