by the way jags still suck lol
as usual the game started off great then my offense got figured out and well we all know hows jags defense looks lol HINT- not good
i did find out some new things about my team these game as i discovered Jacquizz rodgers in the rushing world with 9 carries for 105 yards with 2 TDS and a 75 yard TD looks like he will be sharing carries with leshoure who wasnt much of a factor this game although i didnt realy try and use him either atleast not to much also to note rodgers also had 136 KR yards almost took one to the house but the kicker got him lol.
as for schaub the jags are ready for gabbert to get back only 4 more weeks and he will be our number one again.

Matt Schaub could be getting close to going to the trade block if gabbert progress well next year. if schaub does go it will be for draft picks and i cant trade him until next season right before the draft so if ur in need of a QB schaub or gabbert could be on the market next season.
Is anyone else with 0-1 wins available? I know siradam wanted to play tonight.
I can - finally done with work (at 10 pm!)

Thanks for subbing DVO and sorry I wasn't on earlier

Cards vs Seahawks is scheduled for 10:30 tomorrow night.

-lol went from first in the league to ninth in regards to rushing defense. I think the 49ers were using three TE sets with a tackle as the third TE. effed me up

Are the ravens subing or nobody owns them? Can i just play the computer it will be easier for everybody ;D lol

They're owned. I'm subbing for them this week.

Edit: Just got home. I can play you now if you want.

Dolphins beat the Bills 17-14

This was probably the most fun I've had playing madden in forever. I LOVED being the bills.

Thanks for the game! it was a blast

Week 10: Dolphins @ Bills

Dolphins: 17
Bills: 14

Bills Defense: 2 Interceptions, 2 Sacks
Bills Offense: 226 Yards Passing, 2 TD / 2 Rushing Yards

Miami's Defense: 1 Forced fumble,2 Interceptions, 2 Sacks, 2 Fumble Recoveries
Miami's Offense: 191 Yards Passing, 2 TD / 102 Rushing Yards

Down 14-3 late in the 3rd, the Dolphins find their offense and put up 14 unanswered to close out the game. Bills had two great chances(read: stupid stupid stupid feroci0us!!!!!) on turnovers by the dolphins late in the 4th quarter, but Karlos Dansby had sticky hands on both drives and took home the game ball with two interceptions.

Great freaking game superstar. Thanks SO much for subbing! That game was seriously alot of freaking fun. Felt like it was two guys sitting on a couch playing football, not...well..you know the other alternative. lol

Injuries:
Bills: Nick Barnett, Broken Collarbone, 9 weeks.

Sorry MA - Both for the loss and for losing Vonta Leach for the season. After he went down I asked GP whether he would be okay with restarting since it was a sub game and I didn't want you losing your star FB for the year. But apparently me up 3-0 in the first quarter was "too late in the game." It is what it is I suppose. Hopefully you can find a fill-in.

And GP, I mentioned this in my message to you but I'll repeat it here because it always bears repeating: We don't run up the score in this league. I don't care if you're running the ball or throwing it, when your opponent has no timeouts and there's a minute left, you should not be trying to score. Take a knee. I know you're new, so consider this a friendly reminder.

Well i just picked you off and almost returned it and i had good momentum and i didn't wanna lose that.

And ya sorry won't let it happen again.

It's his 2nd warning then since it happened in the now defunct Fantasy League against fero.

Anyway, Charles is set to return against the surging Bears. Chicago has second best run defense in the NFL behind the Kansas City Chiefs.
It's a sub game though.. If it was my own team I never would have asked, but I'm filling in for MA and I really didn't want him to lose his star FB (93 OVR) in a 3-0 game. Injuries happen I guess, it just sucks when they happen in a sub game.

Thank you. It's a part of this league we take extremely seriously. You were obviously trying to score there (you didn't even let the clock run after you got the 1st down to ice the game), so it's definitely not in a gray area.

I'll remember we discussed it, so don't do it again. ;)

Panthers escape Tampa Bay with a win... wish Vince Young would throw the ball a lil more... feels like i'm defending two tailbacks every snap. GG either way Tanabeo

That's a huge loss for the ravens...puts me in second place in the afc behind doomtime....will someone please beat him!

You already had the tie-breaker over the Ravens based on your head-to-head win.

And hey Doom, where's our playoff picture? ;)

I suppose even if I miss out on the division, it's not inconceivable I could get into the WC discussion since I hold tie-breakers over both these teams. But yeah, it's probably going to take winning the division.
I'm waiting to play you man! :D
I'm hoping we meet in one of the side tournaments. I wouldn't want my first game against you to be in the afc championship, I tend to struggle against people the first time I play them. Your team is filthy too I haven't really looked at ur defense but Lblount n charles, to go along with austin, bowe and baldwin, I like it. Haven't played with cassell in a while, but I remember shittin on fools with him the year brady went down.

If anyone wants to get a ranked match in get at me I'm around the rest of the day...

Yea I cant throw with him I suck. Also whats AJ Greens speed because he blew by my cb and got that perfect pass by cam to end the half(I knew I should have called prevent)

O and busted steve slaton had over 100 yards again.

Only 4 teams don't have a shot, ridiculous! I'm still sore about my loss to The 49ers, I've got to beat them next time to have a shot at the Divison.

Just a reminder to everyone: This week is the trading deadline.

Any deals must be submitted before we advance in order to be eligible.

Green's speed is 89. I have no clue how he got behind everyone but it was HUGE. Cam usually overthrows wide open receivers but i guess he really wanted that TD. Slaton breaking that long run pissed me off cuz i blitzed all LBs and nobody touched Slaton... and i whiffed on a hit stick. I'm glad that Benson fumble didnt hurt me in the end tho
On a happier note I read the injury report wrong and have Rice & Rice back. Get ready, this offense is back to full strength!
Wonderful.....

whoops, I realized BV's "any time after 7 works" didn't necessarily equal "let's play at 7." that's what I thought he said for some reason! anyways, BV, if you get home soon I'm on and ready to go. I prefer to play soon as I was going to whip up some dinner shortly.

Are the bucs one of the four?

Story of my season... Too many missed opportunities when they were for the taking. And then throwing the game out of reach. Oh well.
And I shouldve went for it on 4th, among other things. I just played like a stupid piece of shit. Gg BV.
GG indeed. You definitely left some opportunities on the field, I think you really came out hot when you committed to the ground game, and I wasn't prepared for it. I think you probably would have been better served sticking with that longer, since I was playing a nickle package all game.

Maybe.

It's not like my WRs weren't wide open the majority of the time. I don't think your CBs can handle Kilgo/Holmes 1v1 so any non-curl route I was seeing them open but Sanchez would over throw them by 2-10 yards depending on how bad he wanted to blow that given throw. The drops didn't help either, but that's a given in the rain and I suppose you had 1.

I almost felt bad for that fumble for a TD, and then just before any guilt could set in Madden gives me your first Roddy TD which was 3 of my guys sitting in zone right in front of him, all of them whiffing and him running it in for a TD. I'm never even going to think about feeling bad about a break I get from now on.

I do have to say solid adjustment to the 2 WR set from last game. Stacking those guys didn't work as well and I had to resort to shotgun, which I haven't used too often in a while. It worked a bit, but it seemed like Avant/Kerley was more of a distraction than a target. Especially considering the 2 catches Avant dropped that were thrown his way. Keller couldn't get open in any formation it seemed to credit to you for that.

Way too many missed tackles for me, especially in the running game. I contained your RB to mostly 5 yard max runs for the first part of the game, and then one missed tackle and boom, around the outside, Hello Doomtime. Missed throws, missed tackles, not sure if that all adds up to me absolutely playing like shit or I just play like shit. I don't think there's enough reasons to excuse these recent performances.

Commish Battle Round IV: Patriots 35 - Jets 17

The Patriots take a huge step towards claiming their 2nd consecutive AFC East title by traveling to the Meadowlands and taking down their bitter rival Jets. The Patriots spotted the Jets a 14-0 lead before they ever touched the ball when the Jets came out in surprising ground and pound mode and got a long TD from Green, followed by a Darius Holmes fumble on the ensuing kickoff which the Jets took back for 6. The Pats didn't panic though, and then went beast mode, outscoring the Jets 35-3 the rest of the way, including 21-0 in the second half.

Tom Brady had his biggest game of the season, completing 9 of 10 passes for 199 yards and 3 TDs (all to Roddy White). The only incompletion was a drop by Aaron Hernandez.

Mark Sanchez was decidedly less accurate, going 12 of 34 for 157 yards, 0 TDs and 1 INT.

Cobie Ross carried 18 times for 111 yards and 2 TDs. Green-Ellis was finally a factor again as well, with 4 carries for 65 yards, including a 50 yarder when set up the TD that iced the game.

Shonn Green carried 9 times for 99 yards and a TD, most of those in the 1st half before the Jets got more pass happy.

Roddy White had by far his biggest game as a Patriot, catching 5 passes for 150 yards and 3 TDs. He was also finally used on some of the deep patterns I got him for, including one ridiculous play where he caught the ball in the middle of about 4 Jets and then spun around and took it for a TD. No other Patriot had more than 1 catch (though Welker's one was a HUGE 3rd down conversion late).

Delency Kilgo lead the way for the Jets, with 5 catches for 65 yards.

The teams each turned it over once, on the aforementioned Holmes fumble on the KR, and a pick by Pat Chung.

gg uber! Needless to say, this win was immeasurably huge for me. I'm very glad I didn't panic down 14-0 and stuck with my gameplan.

As I said, I'm definitely a little surprised you didn't stick with the run longer since it was working. You've had more passing success against me than pretty much anyone in the league, so I came into this one playing 100% pass defense. I think I was in the 3-4 for maybe 2 snaps or something. Definitely a lot of that had to do with the way the game was going, but especially in the rain I was surprised you didn't stick with the ground and pound longer.

We've now split the series 2-2 so far, I look forward to next year's game!

After last game, there was no way you were ever seeing Santonio Holmes lined up on a linebacker ever again. I had at least 3 CBs on the field for about 99% of the games snaps, so wherever they went there was sure to be a CB on them.

And no, I agree that McCourty and Dowling can't keep up with your guys in a footface (Asante definitely can't), but Mark Sanchez isn't a paragon of accuracy even in perfect conditions, so I figured as long as I forced him to stay mobile by blitzing a linebacker he was going to miss some of those wide open throws. He was more than happy to oblige.

As for the White TD, are you sure you're not talking about the 3rd one? That was the one which I remember being ridiculous (your defenders basically ignored the ball). The first one was on a WR screen and the second was on a slant.

What annoys me maybe most is that I was on the move for exactly 1 throw. With your pass D out almost every play I had plenty of time besides maybe 2-3 throws, 2 of which I threw out of bounds and 1 which I threw on the run which was shockingly accurate. Sanchez isn't Peyton Manning, but after a year of progression, feet planted and minimal wind it was pretty unrealistic for me to be overthrowing guys by almost half the field at times. Especially considering that it only started happening in the 2nd half, when I was throwing it more and needed it most. I guess I could/should run more, but it just bores me. I can't stick with it.
