True, well to make it fair Philly would still need to add more.

Yeah, my point was it wasn't that bad, but if the 2nd rounder was dropped or switched to a 3rd it would be good to go. I was agreeing with mostly everyone, but offering a solution.
i'm really not tryna mess with this deal any more than i already have...

I still don't think a pick needs to go back to Philly at all, since they're already getting by far the best player in the deal.

But if that version works for uber, it works for me.
Sunday cannot come fast enough! I'm ready to wreck the NFC West.
I appreciate you trying to start another day full of shit talk, but I'll lay off today.

Remember, if you're playing the Jags while DVO is gone, you need to PM LVPatriots and myself to schedule the game.

Maybe that should be put on the op? Just a thought.

I'll try to keep Gabbert alive for you DVO, but no promises.
lol he isnt a speedy qb so i wouldnt try it lv hahaha
He's got 75 speed, that's not glacial by QB standards.

If anyone is in need of a glacier, Matt Cassel is available.

Hey bv, did Newegg overnight you a copy of ME3? Kotaku article said they were going to.

Not yet, I've been playing phone tag with them. I'm not really in a hurry to get it, I'll let the people who are apoplectic get theirs first. :D

for once i'm thankful for amazon release date delivery.

Granted, i bought the collector's edition, but it was on my desk at 11am on tuesday.

Darn. I was hopeful :) you should demand that you keep it as compensation for their screwup!

clay mathews i dont want him on the cover or rodgers but if i had to choose it would be rodgers for the curse
Everybody vote for Clay Matthews. I don't want Rodgers on that cover!
i'm glad Carolina isn't as widely known as the Packers... i dont have to worry about Cam or anyone else gettin hit with the curse :D

True, but I think Cam could pull it off after the season he just had. If a Cleveland Brown can make the cover, anything is possible.

Lol even Shane Lechler is nominated.

They just called me, they are overnighting it after all.
i'm taking over the 49ers for a short while
http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?p=9412232#post9412232

I would like to address this post.

I like you deuce, so don't take this the wrong way, please.

Why are we letting Deuce compromise a teams identity by trading away 2 of it's superstars if he's only going to be here a "Short while" ???? (#1 and #3 players on offense. #1 and #4 on the entire team.)

Up until this season under deuce's "temporary" leadership..the Previous 49ers(grand cru) had no trades, WHATSOEVER.

I just don't think it's wise for him to trade away iconic 49er's (both of these players have played for San Fran since their rookie season, both 1st round draft picks)

If he's committed to playing as the 49ers for 2 or 3 seasons...cool..... but we've discouraged insane trades before if you're not dedicated....

He raises a good point. If Deuce is going to be the permanent owner of the Niners going forward, then of course go nuts. But if he's just "filling in" for a short time than maybe he shouldn't gut the team.
I'm voting for Gronk. He'll beat any curse you throw his way.
And this one.
do we really think we will go 2 or 3 more seasons though
It really depends on how much you guys maintain your interest level. I'm on record as saying I'm willing to keep the league going for as long as there's enough interest.

I thought that was the intent. Uber said that Cru didn't return his PM so he was out. That isn't a direct quote though and I can't find the post from my phone.

If that's the case it's obviously fine. But fero is right that we should make sure Deuce is committed to the 49ers for the long haul before he changes the roster too radically.

no offense taken fero... originally, i was just covering for Cru til he got his internet situation squared away, but now it's a permanent switch. i'm gonna talk to Cru just to double check, but i'm pretty sure he's done til '13.

Also, Cru hadnt traded not because he didnt want to, but because the deals never went thru. They either got shot down or the trading partner didnt like the deal

***Cru says he's out for this season... looking to return next season

manning will be in kc next season i just have a feeling that he will also lead reggie wayne that way to. and i hate the idea of it becuz i hate KC becuz of my brother and dad. but if he goes there they will win the SB. amazing running game great WRs defense is good highly under rated all they need is the best QB ever

Manning is going to Miami... Reggie Wayne will probably go too... The only way KC gets Manning is if Miami places more importance on building for the future (Matt Flynn) rather than trying to win now

I agree that Miami is the most likely option at this point. I hear he's told the Redskins he's definitely not going there, which is not surprising but a bit disappointing since I think it would have been very interesting having him here.
i still think the Skins will find a way to move up and get RGIII...
Yeah, that should definitely be their plan if they're not getting Manning.

Though part of me wants to see all my Redskins fan friends suffer through another hopeless season of Rex Grossman. :D

Lol you already want to crown them if he lands there?

Let's see if Charles is still the same back first.

I'd like to know why everyone is on the Miami bandwagon? Not saying he will be a Chief but why the hell would he want to play the Pats twice a year just for a shot at the playoffs? Couple that with the fact that the Dolphins are nowhere near a contender...I just don't see it.

I think Manning knows he's got 2-3 years left. If I was in that situation I would want the easiest path to the Superbowl, not the one that runs through NE.

If people around here come to believe that Charles is the greatest and best back in the world, I think we can safely say who's to blame for that perception. ;)

I think the Dolphins are closer to contending than you think. They were sneaky good last year after a slow start, and that was with Matt Moore at QB. They finished 6-10, I could easily see Manning making that 10-6.

I don't see why he'd be afraid of competing with Brady: He's been doing it most of his career, even if it's not in the same division.

Could be true. However the AFC West is by far the weakest schedule is the league and KC has a last place schedule. Not to mention about 60 million in cap space.

Its going to be fun to watch. And if he ends up in KC, Dolphin fans can sign Matt Cassel 1.0 or 2.0 (Flynn).
