Edit: I can see Ellis moving down I guess, but I don't see why Haynesworth's rating would go down from where it is already. They made that rating based on his 2 seasons of suck in Washington, and the only difference since then is that he's in a better situation. I don't think they'd move him down before he's played a game, I was just shocked he wasn't lower initially.

Vick's stats are sick. 91 Speed, 95 Acc, and a 95 THP and 98 Throw on the Run. You can immediatly start to move in case you have to take off running, and either throw or break the pocket with virtually no loss of acc.

Which is one of the many reasons they'll be used in every single ranked match imaginable.

I just had a friend tell me "YOu are the only person I can't call out if they start using the Eagles in Madden now". He and I have been playing Jaguars vs. Eagles for years now. :lol: (Eagles lead our series 13-1)

Those were basically his stats last year and I don't recall the various Titans owners being able to do too much with him. In more capable hands however, look out.

I ran wild with him in the last season of the Madden 10 league.

Damn Eagles, I can't stomach playing them in 90% of the ranked matches.

And yes, Chris Johnson is insane. Last year it felt like he was on ice skates. He just wasn't used properly in this league.

Hey guys, I would like to get atleast two more people in the fantasy football league. We are currently sitting at 6 people, with 6 more spots available. Again, if you would like an invite, just pm me with your email address and I'll send it out as soon as possible. There isn't a set draft time yet, once we get enough people we can discuss it, but it will probably be sometime next weekend.
 
My availability is literally WIDE open at the moment...I graduated college (undergraduate) and am in the transition period between undergrad and med school. I'm scheduled to take the MCAT September 10th, so until then...I'm holding off on applying for any jobs or taking any trips or anything, so I'll be home the entire time. My availability is likely to change after September 10th, but I won't know the details until I find a job. Although I'm constantly studying at the moment...I can easily take a break for any Madden games (if we even have any between August 30th and September 10th). I don't know how long it's gonna take for the rosters to be completely updated.

Sorry.. Normally I would do it, but I know I won't keep up regularly with a Yahoo league, so I'm probably doing a favor by bowing out. If it were on ESPN I'd definitely do it, but I realize you've already settled on Yahoo.

Alright, about the fantasy football league... I think I'm going to make a thread in the off topic forum to try and fill the rest of the league out. Does anyone who already joined have a problem with this?

Quick league announcement and first of the season:

BV is going to be helping out a lot this season. If anyone has any pressing questions especially during work hours definitely hit him up if you need a quick response. I'll also probably be passing the baton for advancing more often than last year as well. I'm sure others will be in the mix as well in that regard, but BV can be relied on as co-commish/vice commish/whatever you want to call him. My schedule is not what it used to be as of last Madden, but that does not mean the league will suffer or advance any less. We'll be moving along as usual! Just a quick FYI.

As far as availability, I'm good most evenings and the late afternoon. Sometimes I may be doing something on the weekend evenings, but even then I can usually play late.
 
Just FYI guys, I don't have much in the way of room on my friend list. If you send me one for the league though I will try to find it (i.e. delete someone). If you get a message of list is fool, just send me a message and I'll make room then add you.

Heya guys! I talked to Uber just to make sure i had his blessing upon posting this, but i of course have the Jags and thats np at all, looking forward to playing with you guys!
But just a headsup, on my board we are looking to setup a league as well in the Microsoft area theres a Madden thread that were just getting started on up. Basically though since its a new board and im still getting it off the ground we are going to need more players.

So i was curious if any of you guys that may be up for a 2nd league which will be virtually the same as this one, simlike, 3-4 day rollovers etc...but i just could use some guys to help plug in some spots. It would be seriously appreciated!

And i get to be my Steelers there :p But ill do my best with the Jags here thats for sure. Anyways let me know guys. Just looking for a few guys to sort of help me get a 2nd league rockin.

Falcons roster has a lot of weapons. I imagine Julio will move into the lower 80s as the season progresses.

I hope so, I also thought Jaquizz Rodgers was supposed to be fast, but he is only 84 speed.
 
sorry guys, I've been really busy with this military stuff but the hard part is done. My availability will be more of a day by day kinda thing so when it's time to schedule games, just PM or XBL and i'll work something out.

have they released the Panthers roster yet?

One last call guys, anyone else just lookin to bum around in a 2nd league that im really looking to keep running just as strong as the one here, built basically the same stuff and type of rollovers for new weeks, a game every few days. Just let me know in my thread if possible or here, would love to have a few of ya.

If not no worries i just want to fill it up, at 15 teams there so far.

Hey guys,

I apologize. I originally though I was going to have time to do a Madden sim this year, but I am going to be so busy that I just don't think I can. So please take me off for the Bengals.
 
This weekend or before this weekend I'm going to send out a round of PMs. I'm going to expect everyone to check in next Tuesday and give us an update on when they expect to get the game. With Labor Day Weekend coming up right after release date I'm going to tentatively schedule the start of the season for one week after release, or September 6th. This will of course depend on the roster update and how many people have the game by then, but that seems reasonable right now.
 
I'm getting the game day one, but my internet access is very sketchy right now. It's hard to keep connected to Xbox Live. I will be getting that fixed by the end of September (switching to at&t U-Verse) so I hope to be involved with Season 2. So bummed that I can't join you guys in Season 1. Sigh.

I won't see any replies (if anyone bothers to, lol) so if you want to talk to me, PM me and I will get back to you as soon as I see it.

OP is finally updated. We have a new Bengals and a new Bucs owner. I don't believe there's anyone else currently on the waiting list, but feel free to correct me on that one.

I'm still looking for Listerfiend78 to swing through and update us on his availability, but not a huge deal at this point.

As I said a couple posts ago, I'll be looking to do a roll call next week when the game comes out just to see when everyone is getting it and to make sure they are keeping up with the thread. Week 1 will likely start on September 6th, but if a lot of people have the game already and the latest roster update is in then I wouldn't mind going with a 'soft opening' a little earlier than that.
