Jets def. Bills, 56-0.

I'm not sure what to say about this one. I hope I didn't scare off the new guy. [Though props to him for sticking through this one] It's tough trying to throw that often, in the rain, with Fitzpatrick but the Bills went down early and came out chucking. This resulted in throwing the same amount of INTs (7) as completions. The Jets had a lot of short fields to work with.

Whoever has Schaub might want to give the Bills a buzz.

My much talked about front 7 wasn't tested much as Buffalo only ran it 4 times. But the linebackers were able to put pressure on the QB, which forced a lot of those picks. Revis had 3, 1 which was taken back. And second year man Khaynin Stewart had a pair as well.

The two-headed monster run game looked good in it's debut. Greene had 177 yards and 4 TDs, while Powell had 104 yards and 2 TDs.

I know the Bills aren't in here yet, but good game and stick with it.
Chiefs Dominate Falcons 31-6.

Jamaal Charles 18 att 221 yds 3 TD

Wasn't a fan of the qb sneak on 4th and inches from your own 30 considering that play is banned.

GG though gb.
What? I thought they patched them and we allowed them now? Maybe I'm got mixed up with the old fantasy league, either way that was the 1st time I've ever done that in this league. If you are angry just at the fact that I went for it, then I don't want to hear it. It was more like at the 35 and it was the second time in a row that I had a pass that looked like a 1st down but was called 4th inches. Plus you had just scored to go up 14-0 and I knew at that point I wasn't stopping you. I also appreciate the attempt to pad the stats with a minute left up 18. Yes I know I called a time out, but you were obviously trying to score.

jags fall to the bengals again

my defense looked much much more better just couldnt get the offense rolling but that will happen. The Bengals pass defense looked amazing gabbert could barely get the ball into anyone going 5 for 18 with only 67 yards. my rushing couldnt do anything either it was like he was calling the perfect plays everytime.

my defense looked good though
8 tackles for a loss
4 sacks
1 FF
1 FR for a TD by my first round draft pick possible ROY if he keeps this shit up plus 2 deflections wish they were picks instead he will learn lol
time to get this offense going now

30 or 35 doesn't make much of a difference. You shouldn't be qb sneaking for a first.

As for that final score, well, you already explained that one. I was going to run down the clock but you called a timeout. Can't be held at fault for that one.

Anyway, I'm not mad, just for future reference.

Alright we cool. It just came off like you were complaining about one small play that didn't matter at all en route to a 25 point victory. And you could have told me in pm or xbl message, you didn't have to announce it to the whole league.

True. Just blowing off Green Bay Packer steam

Bucs start off the season 1-0 with a win against the panthers 24-17 Bucs played a whole lot better that what it looks they missed a few picks that hit my LB in both his big mitts.

In Ryan Mallett's first start in almost a year he went 10-15 with 1 TD and 1 INT but only 174 yards with a 100.6 QB rating.

Didn't know it was still banned I'm in the same boat as GB also You were running 30 yards backwards with Cam and throwing it out of bounds I think they said you could do that but I could be wrong other wise I would have done that with vince a lot last year.

Week 1: Dolphins @ Rams
Dolphins: 31
Rams: 28

Rams Defense: 3.5 Sacks, 2 Interception
Rams Offense: 225 Yards Passing, 1 TD / 93 Rushing Yards, 2 TD

Miami's Defense: 5 Sacks, 5 Interception,1 Forced Fumble
Miami's Offense: 64 Yards Passing, 1 TD / 203 Yards Rushing, 3 TD

In a Game Where the Dolphins Unveiled 2 New Starters on Offense, they both were needed in order to help the Dolphins pull out a tough one.

The first quarter was a rather boring affair in Which we saw a Punt by the Dolphins on their first Posession, followed by an interception by Karlos Dansby on the Rams First Drive of the game. Dan Carpenter also managed to just barely miss a 59 Yard Field Goal by Bouncing it off the crossbar on the Dolphins 2nd Drive of the Game. The 2nd drive by the Rams was ended prematurely by a Ras-I Dowling Interception. The Dolphins Punted to end out the quarter.

The 2nd Quarter saw an impressive drive by the Rams(a 61 Yard Pass to L. Kendricks starting out the drive) with a 3 Yard pass to N. Tahi to make the score 7-0. The Dolphins answered back with a 63 yard Run by Rookie HB A. Bolton for a Td. Karlos Dansby picked off Rams QB Sam Bradford on the following drive, and the Dolphins turned this interception into a 24 yard Field Goal to take a 10-7 Lead. The Rams Got the ball Back, which ended in a Chris Clemons Interception. Dolphins couldn't move the ball at all and ended up giving the ball back to the Rams via punt with 1 Second Left in the half.

10-7 Dolphins at the Half

3rd Quarter was all St. Louis as the Rams put up a Touchdown on a 9 yard run by N. Tahi to make the score 14-10. Peter Newcomer threw an interception to Q. Mikell with 2 minutes left in the 3rd Quarter, followed by a Rams Punt. The Dolphins, always wanting to keep it exciting... Punted Back with 40 seconds left in the 3rd.

The 4th quarter came around, Rams with the ball on their own 45, a couple of sucessful runs and the Rams Kick a 32 Yard Field Goal with 4 Minutes left in the 4th. Miami proceeds to throw an interception on their first drive of the Quarter to Q.Mikell (AGAIN!),Dolphins hold them to 3 and out, which leads to another 37 Yard Field Goal with 2 Minutes and 50 Seconds Left in the 4th. Dolphins are down 20-10 at this point, and completely out of timeouts. This Game by all rights should be over!

Newcomer(no, not the QB) A. Bolton(HB) came to the sideline and begged the coach to let him run the Ball.

A Beautiful 80 yard Run followed this request for a Touchdown. (Coach was happy!) The dolphins, having no timeouts left with 2:40 Seconds left in the 4th, choose to kick an onside kick, not trusting in their defense being down 20-17. Newcomer W.R. J. Lofton Steps up and Recovers the Onside Kick. Awesome. So Far throughout this game, the Rams have held Peter Newcomer(QB) in check, picking him off twice and only allowing him to throw for a total of 3 yards. J. Lofton(Rookie WR) is amped up after recovering the onside kick and tells Peter Newcomer (QB) to Call his number on this drive. Low and Behold, the rookie gets open on a nice route to the sideline and takes it 61 yards for a Touchdown with 2:27 left in the game. Dolphins now up 24-20. (still in shock at this point.) Rams get the ball back with a chance to win the game with 2:18 left in the 4th. First play is a run up the middle, stopped. 2nd Play ends up being an interception to Ras-I Dowling in the middle of the field. 2 Minutes left at this point. Dolphins rush for 2 yards up the middle. Rams call Timeout. Dolphins rush for 3 yards, Rams call timeout. 3rd and 6, doplhins get a beautiful 35 yard HB toss to the right for a Touchdown, Dolphins now up 31-20. Rams proceed to move the ball down the field and we see a 3 yard QB Rush by Troy Smith (Who???) for the Touchdown. Rams Go for 2 with 11 seconds left, No timeouts. They Get it.

11 Seconds left, Rams choose to kick the onside kick, Dolphins Recover, Peter Newcomer Kneels the ball to end the game out..

Final Score, Dolphins 31 - Rams 28.

I know i've written a wall of text, but after being down by 10 or so...i usually get really down on myself and tend to "quit early"

Thankfully I didnt, that was a very exciting and enjoyable game, win or lose!

gg gpninja

Dolphins and Rams both had injury Scares as the following went down with injuries:

QB Sam Bradford went down after a hard hit for 1 down, thankfully He was ok.
MLB Karlos Dansby (after picking the ball off twice) went down with a strained forearm for the game
DT Paul Soliai went down for the game after straining his lower quadricep

Both new Rookies ROLB Nagui Frederick (4 Tackles and 1 Sack) and DT C. Heim (1 Tackle) Saw playing time thanks to these injuries.

Texans’ Draft Recap

1st Round, No. 1 (from Jags) – Artez Cousins –RE, 85 Ovr – A Potential
With the first pick the Texans chose the next Haloti Ngata, he will primarily play NT where he is already rated, 88 Ovr. He really helps with the shift to 3-4 personnel.
1st Round, No. 5 (from Bucs) – Bryant Skinner – FS, 84 Ovr – A Potential
A more complete/impact safety to help take the Defense to the next level.
2nd Round Ba’ree Brown – WR, 75 Ovr – B Potential
More speed outside to compliment Harris’ deep arm.
3rd Round Delino Bradley (from Jags) – DT, 77 Ovr – B Potential
Depth, future starter, upgrade @ DT.
3rd Round Alton Tubbs – LT, 74 Ovr – C Potential
O-line is the weakest overall unit on the squad…looking for a guy for depth and possibly future time if he develops.
4th Round Chad Simmons – WR, 62 Ovr – D Potential
More speed on the outside and a KR/PR with good “wiggle” and explosiveness
5th Round Deandre’ Dial – RB, 67 Ovr – C Potential
Some depth @ RB with another fast kid. The offense needed some more speed/explosion. Special Teams for now.
6th Round Connor Murray – ROLB, 54 Ovr – D Potential
Special teamer
7th Round Brandon Austin – QB, 61 – D Potential
Developmental QB, only had 2 on the roster.

Violating the rule against hot swapping QBs in the process?

GP, you can't switch QBs in and out in the middle of the series (unless you're running a wildcat formation, then it's fine). Keep that in mind for the future.
Violating the rule against hot swapping QBs in the process?
Possibly... The Play immediately before was a Td Pass by Sam Bradford called back for Holding on the offensive line... I'm not sure, but i KNOW for sure it was Troy smith who ran the Touchdown in for 3 yards. and he didn't throw the ball once all day. Not a big deal in my book, but i know a rule's a rule.

I have to say, based on potentials alone I already did way better than last year's draft. I got a starting RT who is already better than the B potential RT I drafted in the previous draft. He didn't progress for me at all in the offseason.

Then I landed a LG gem with A potential. He's rated lower than the two LGs I have now, but not by much and his important stats are on par if not better so he's starting right now.

I rounded out the rest of my draft, with an A pot TE I probably don't need. And then a solid kick returner/WR and a B potential center for depth. Not bad!

I didn't get a single guy likely to play a meaningful snap barring injury.. Then again, the Patriots starting lineup is pretty tough to crack.
I didn't get a single guy likely to play a meaningful snap barring injury.. Then again, the Patriots starting lineup is pretty tough to crack.
Yeah, the o-line starters are both replacing 72 OVRs so I didn't exactly get some 80+ stud that beat out someone quality. My TE will see plenty of looks in 2 TE sets, so 2.5 starters this time around.

Same. My roster is too good and my pick was too low to get anyone that could instantly come in and start, though I am going to try and get my new rolb a bunch of pt. I've gotten my roster to a point where I have no starters under 80 except for a few wide receivers.

My most amusing rookie by a long shot:

WR Samson Fields - 57 OVR - 99 Speed - 5'8" 224 pounds

By any measure, this dude is fucking OBESE, and yet somehow he has 99 speed. I need to get this guy some snaps just to see what he looks like on the field. Holy hell.

That is amazing. The only possibility is that he is a bowling ball.
