lol u know wuts funny... not.that one game matters cause i did lose to tanabo week one when we first started the league but the bucs were the worst in the devision both seasons.. wonder how yanksrule is gonna take getting whipped by gb and ballhawk cus both of them got game in madden....

Just for reference...I was scouting a particular LT that I remember sprice took in the 2nd round with his pick (which was bottom 10). He's 75 OVR B potential - 88 impact blocking, 96 RBS, 90 RBF, 90 PBS, 78 PBF and 52 awareness (like 20 points higher than your LG). I know he's a LT...but I'm sure LT could transition well enough one spot over into LG. There was no way I'd pass up that guy for the LG you took just because of the A potential...maybe that's just me. There was also a pretty good 77 OVR LT which was available at the time too.

My 86 rookie lt is starting at lg and actually went up to an 88 at LG, go figure! I also secured a 70 something A pot LE, when I sort by potential is right under the LT I drafted. Overall I was very pleased with the draft.
 
I asked this a way back, anybody wanna get like a 2v2 or 3v3 team play tourny goin? We could make teams n practice a lil bit then start up a bracket. I think it'd be pretty fun.

Depends when we actually advance. I can play right at 10 but not much after. We have a scheduled outage tomorrow at 2am so I've got to work all day today, try to get an extra hour of sleep and then go in at 2 and presumably work until 5 the next day.

Basically Wednesday probably won't be much better, so hopefully we advance before 10.

I thought maybe the whole organizing of teams would be interesting. I know I wouldn't mind free lancing with sprice at qb n doom at rb. Or playin DL with MA at LB. Shit like that. I donno didn't get ne interest last time prolly won't this time, but we play team games all the time or 2v1 there good shit
 
Just curious why the following signings were done?

Chargers signed Zachary Mauro (71 OVR DT, 2nd Season,C Potential)
Cowbys signed Clay Goodwin (64 OVR MLB,Rookie, D Potential)
Cowboys signed Brady Newcomer (68 OVR QB, Rookie, C Potential)
49ers signed Jason Morris (67 OVR QB, Rookie, C Potential)

If you picked these guys up at the draft, then dropped them, fine. if they were on your team last year, fine....but EA's horrible tracking system doesn't allow me to see every transaction done, sadly.

Please Let us know about these FA Pickups (which are expressly not allowed unless we doing Free Agent Signing Periods.)

Down!!!! I wouldn't mind trying out safety or something though...you are pretty handy at the LB position yourself.
 
Finally catching up with the thread....QB Sneaks should remain banned. It's cheap, there is no getting around it.

The reason really fast RB's are successful (for the most part) in this Madden is because they can run parrallel (or partially backwards) to the line, until they've out run everyone, then turn it up and score, with a few on-a-dime cuts. They need to tune speed differential for the next madden.

That is one thing that you always see the guys with fast rbs do. Nothing really stops it, but when a guy gets to the edge irl he usually breaks it off anyway.

Actually CB blitz will stop it.

I'm in an Online Dynasty for NCAA and we run a pretty tight ship, running backwards/parallel to the line gets you banned...lol.

i do to but wen i let the comp try sometimes they turn and run upfield with the running back chasin them lol thats y i just user everything the comp fucks me all the time

Newcomer I had drafted. The MLB replaced K. Brooking who retired. The MLB is D potential and a rookie, I can cut him if needed and add talent there during the fa signings. I had cut 7 players for the draft and I was down one more roster spot (8 players) due to Brookings retirement, therefore added that rookie mlb d pot. If I assumed incorrectly on adding the mlb for retirement, he will be cut immediately, he is only on the team for depth.

Speaking of which, how many Newcomer qb's are out there? LOL
