If I had it to do over again, I'd probably have adjusted my strategy more. The problem was that the game was never more than a one score game, so I couldn't bring myself to abandon the run even though it clearly wasn't working. I'm so used to Cobie Ross eventually breaking a big gain, it was a great job by you in never letting him get anything going.
I think the problem I have in a game like this is my offense has become so run-heavy that when a game comes along where I've got to adjust and pass I don't have the confidence to do it. I definitely wasn't comfortable throwing that much (you'll notice I targeted Revis 0.00 times, lol), even though I had some success there it was mostly on shorter passes. In fact, I completed 17 passes, none longer than 14 yards.
As you said, I had two opportunities at the two minute drill and drove into scoring range both times (though obviously a FG at the end wouldn't have mattered). So it's nice to know I can do that if it comes down to it.
Not too much to be upset about for me here, I just got outplayed, those losses are much easier to digest than the ones where something fluky goes against you.
Time to spend the bye week regrouping and getting ready to face the Chiefs after the break!
