who is this Blount guy you get him in the draft?
He's such a beast. Breaking two tackles and then getting pushed forward for even more yardage.
Are there any teams open for 2013? Depending on what the Colts do in the offseason i'll probably be looking for another team.
Not yet, though there's always some shuffling between Maddens - I've changed teams every year so far. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
I definately wouldn't mind us picking up a veteran deep threat like Wallace. Taylor Price is getting us nowhere in that department.
It's going to be an interesting April, and offseason; can't wait to see what moves the Patriots make.

Nice....it's going to be tough letting those Patriots go...that's a bridge i don't think i could cross.

I wouldn't mimd mike wallace one bit, but I just don't see it happening especially for a first round pick. My guess is they will draft someone n try to bring him along. If welker and deion come back there's no room for anyone else. Gronk, hernandez, and welker are on the field at all times. That leaves you two spots. One is for a RB, and the other??? Deion branch? Chad johnson?? Someone new?? I donno I don't see them getting rid of branch, and if that's the case there's just no room for anyone else.

With McDaniels back, I think they could fit in a Randy Moss type player.

I'm not givin up on ochocinco. Clearly all his problems were mental. He's still can run routes he just didn't know the playbook and he wasn't part of bill obriens game plan. Idealy u bring everyone back, ocho has a breakout season with mcdaniels and we use those picks on the interior offensive line and a pass rush.

Well obviously if they did sign Wallace, I think it would mean Branch is either gone or back in a reduced role.

I don't expect Ocho to be on the roster next year. I don't think he's washed up yet, but I still think they cut him to save the cap space.
My guess is they will draft someone n try to bring him along..
My main point is that they've been extremely unsuccessful developing their own receivers under Belichick. Outside of Branch, who's the biggest success at the position? David Givens maybe? Obviously Gronk and Hernandez have been a huge success, but every WR they've drafted in the early rounds has been a colossal bust.

I just lost a game where McCoy had a passer rating of 1.7 with 3 completed passes and 6 interceptions. I think I should probably be kicked out of the league for that performance. :(

NYG - 35
CLE - 7

UMX is a helluva man. Madden fucked him over and he didn't complain at all and kept playing without resorting to BS. I felt bad because he had so much shitty luck over and over.

Can't wait to actually get to play you some other time man. Madden decided to take over in this one.

Patriots fall to the Texans 28-14. Really shouldn't have been that close, since the Texans defenders had about 5 different passes clank off their hands before finally picking Brady at the end. I just wasn't very good at all.

Good rule of thumb: If Brady had twice as many pass attempts as Ross had carries, I probably got my ass kicked. :D

gg Ramesu!

I'm just glad none of those injuries (both my MLBs and your QB) proved to be any longer than this game.
AFC East is wide open now!!!! :)
Sure, as long as I don't win again and you don't lose. ;)

Honestly, after playing my 6th consecutive home game in the rain (yes, that's EVERY home game this season, I wish I was kidding) I'm beginning to wonder if I even want homefield. Maybe the 2 seed would be more appealing.
You got a deal!
It would certainly be charitable of me to let you win a division title one of these seasons.

I know at least one person who will want me to give up the Pats next year. ;)
I think I'd rather see fero move out haha. He has a better record vs me.
No he doesn't... You're 3-3 versus both of us.
No he doesn't... You're 3-3 versus both of us.
Still rather face you. Sorry! You stole one this season, as you admitted. Just my opinion!

Yeah, I assume you don't mean it this way, but you sound like a humongous jackass.

Take it easy, champ. Fero just plays me well. No need to get bent out of shape.

Classless end to the game by the Rams. (He just PMed me on XBL and said his controller died... sorry, can't buy that, just can't. He ran the length of the field. You can get a charge in that time and take it out of bounds.)

Anyways, Jets had a chance to win it so I only have myself to blame here. I was on the 1 yard line with about 12 seconds left. I had to use my last timeout however and didn't feel comfortable leaving it up to my blockers to decide the game so I threw it. Sanchez overthrows a wide open Keller in the end zone on down 1. Down 2 I try to throw it away after being pressured and the Rams pick it in the endzone for the aforementioned classless TD.

IF I didn't lag out on my extra point kick I would have been down by 3 and had no issue with sending this one into OT. But I was down by 4 instead. Oh well, I had my chances so I'm not going to complain about fighting the Madden gods and lag. GG, despite questionable TD.

Edit: I'm just looking at the scoring summary now and my other 4th quarter fuck up was probably even worse than the INT. I took Madden's advice to go goal line formation in 4th and short despite the fact that the Rams have been giving me a heavy dose of Kendricks all game in running formations. 71 yards later and I found myself down 4. He made a great play call so I'm not saying I could have wrapped up the game there and then, but I really wish I could redo that call on my end. I just wasn't thinking. Even if I was more likely to concede the 1st down, I would rather do that then have no help after the man coverage.
GG uber I was freaking out before the play cause my controller did died. But overall crazy game.
As I said, good, crazy game. I'm certainly not going to hold it against you, but I've had my controller die before and it doesn't normally take very long to get it back up if it's only for another few minutes. I know I certainly wouldn't be playing Madden with batteries that died on me already.

In the end it didn't matter, obviously. The game was lost.

Matt Young i'm ready for are rematch when you threw like a 80 yrd td pass to win our last game with like 10 seconds left lol.

I need a new one so bad. I'm using a set of rechargeable batteries that die after about 4 hours

I should screenshot the current team stats page before I synch that last game. Jets leading 3 out of the 4 defensive categories. We won't see that again after this one goes though.
Thanks for the breathing room Uber!
NP! I heard you don't want none of this come playoff time.

edit: WAIT, I thought you were looking forward to my playoff return??
Not at the expense of myself!
Stop acting like there's a chance of you missing the playoffs. ;)

I actually re-checked the tiebreakers, and the Pats still need one more win or a Jets loss to clinch the division. They can still clinch the playoffs with a Steelers loss to the Ravens.

I'll probly sound like a noob for asking this but oh well lol.

So when a player is injured for the season is that also post-season or no?

Yup.

So I assume I pretty much have to win out at this point. I was thinking out of my last handful of games I can expect to lose at least one. That would bring me to 11-5. Nevermind, that loss sunk me. I'm going over the scenarios here and I'd need a miracle.

Steelers would be my best path and that would require losses to both the Redskins and Ravens. Chargers would have to lose 3 out of their last 4. With matchups vs the Chiefs and Ravens I could hope for 2, but the Raiders or Broncos would have to pull off an upset. And that's assuming I can also win out, which is clearly no easy task.

In short: Goodnight, Season 3. You've been fun.
Well I hope you can still sneak in Uber. I will most likely end up the #3 so I'll be hosting the #6. Better be those Jets.
I will attempt to end my season in a blaze of glory, despite the odds. :twoguns: They never seem to favor me at this point, but that never seems to stop me from trying to win these damn games!

Bucs 24
ATL 17

This game was a close one with both of our teams Off. showing up while are D stayed at home. ATL had a chance to tie the game and put it in OT but after a 4th and goal at the 5 matt ryan threw a little behind his WR and it hit him right in the head to turn over on downs and let the Bucs take two knees and win the game.

Ryan Mallett was 9 for 9 205 yards 1 TD with a 155.7 QB rating

Noel Devine was 17 for 172 with 2 TDs and also had 3 catches for 78 yards
