Ravens haven't locked up a bye yet, and they still have a tough match against the Chargers in Week 17. I haven't locked one up either for that matter.

Hope that you will continue to be around, even though we have not played. I am in your same boat and it can be frustrating for sure. All the efforts put in by yourself and BV are appreciated, so not only would we be losing a good member, but a good commish.

Well, my stepdad thinks he packed in a box that he brought today, but I'm not gonna unpack those boxes until I have to :lol:
At the very least, I can pick up a new copy :roll: but let's hope not. It's all one big fustercluck.
 
I'm not gonna wait up to see if these games are played tonight, so you slackers have the rest of the evening to get them in.

Unless any of these games are scheduled (which means posting the time in the thread) for sometime tomorrow morning, I'll be advancing first thing.

I wouldn't have an issue waiting til morning, but if you're up now, BV, might as well sim it. There may be people interested in playing tonight. It's not too late for that, but since it is 10pm on the east coast I would say that's more than enough time on the final day of the week to let us know what's up.

In short: I'm okay with advancing us now.
 
Pats-Dolphins going down shortly. Patriots clinch the #1 seed in the AFC with a win. The fragile starters are sitting, Brady's starting but we'll see how long he'll go.
 
jags vs colts going down tommrow can gabbert-less jags pull of a win without him to beat the colts twice in one season or are they hopeless without there offensive leader
 
Patriots clinch the #1 seed in the AFC with a 28-21 win over the Dolphins. I'll do a write-up in the morning, but the most important highlight was Human Bowling Ball Samson Fields scoring his first NFL touchdown on a pass from fellow rookie Evan Smith. He also nearly returned a punt for a TD.

Time to rest everyone next week against the Seahawks. staticz, if you can't beat this lineup by 30, I'll know for sure you're tanking for a better pick. ;)

Amazingly, 49ers-Seahawks is the only game on the slate with no playoff implications, either for seeding or playoff spots.

Uber can set the official deadline as usual, but it would be very nice if we could finish both Week 16 and 17 by Friday so that we can get the bulk of the playoffs in this weekend.

That is sad. What is the story with the 49ers? Is his connection out or something?

The deadline is set for Wednesday night. So that should bring the next deadline to Saturday. Obviously if we finish either earlier than the 3 days then let's push things along, but right now that's how we'd normally do it.

Seems that way. He was going to play our game at Ramesu's house but that fell through so we ended up needing a sub. Not sure what his status is going forward, I'd at least check in with him.

While we're on the subject of the future: I am committed to running at least one more season of the league. Beyond that we'll see, but there will definitely be a season 4.

If anybody is planning on leaving after this season, please let us know so we can see about filling those spots. I'd encourage those of you who've fallen off a bit (you know who you are) to decide whether you want to stay in the league.

I'll be sticking around, if there was any real questions I wouldn't. Fourth times the charm, right?? :D This is definitely my favorite team I've put together in the last few years of Madden. Moch is just really fun to play with, as are my other linebackers. So despite the frustrating close losses all season long, I'd definitely like to see how I can improve the team further through the draft.

I wasn't really worried about you. :D Frustration doesn't concern me as much as indifference.

Fourth time may indeed be the charm. Besides, you know what it takes to win the division - you did it all the time before I showed up. ;)

My hope it to at least continue to split with you, finally sweep those pesky Dolphins, and then actually win some of those close ones next season.

My losses this year (sans the Rams): 6, 7, 3, 7, 7.

And actually if you add the Rams in there and substract that pick six with the clock expired, I lost that one by 4. If I win just half those games I'm 11-3 right now.

(Obviously, it works both ways so we could also talk about my wins of just 3, 7, 6, and 8... but we'll ignore those)

Didnt want to see it simmed (panthers saints) but i tried to contact him and he never got back to me after i got outta work the game was big for him not so much for me

If it were a vote (which it's not) I'd give my vote to Forte. Best player on the best team, he's having a ridiculous year.

I really hoped Cobie Ross would be in the MVP conversation this season, but he's had a disappointing campaign, at least by the lofty standards of his rookie year. Not that 1760 yards and 24TDs is anything to sneeze at of course, but his ypc fell from 8.1 to 6.8 this year.

I haven't looked much at offensive stats this year. Greene was near the top for rushing at one point, but has since fallen to the wayside. He doesn't have that breakaway speed to put up weekly monster games.

On the defensive side of the ball, it looks like Starks might be the front runner for Miami. What's he pushing like 30 sacks now? Insane season. Moch might get a nod (5 FF, 3 sacks, 3 INTs, might lead league in TFL, off the top of my head), but nothing that gaudy.

He's definitely got a stronger case than in the first two seasons now that he's cut down on the interceptions. Offensive player of the year maybe, but Detroit did lose to Chicago twice, including one game where Stafford threw 6 picks (his worst performance of the year by far). That's why I'd lean Forte, who leads all players in total yards and I believe is tied with Charles for total TDs.

I'm probably going to be looking to move some of my offensive weapons in the offseason. I just have way more than I reasonably utilize, especially among receivers. The only guys I'm not open to moving are Ross and probably Gronk, anybody else is on the table (including Brady).

Are we even allowed to go for 2 when it's not necessary? I'm pretty pissed since Mog just stole a win from me by going for 2 when he scored with 16 seconds left with the score 21-20. An extra point kick would have tied it.
