I can't believe I STILL have a shot after blowing my last two games. Or on the flipside of that coin... I can't believe I blew those two games when the playoffs were right within my grasp! Just going to try to get the W tonight and go from there. Fingers crossed.

I tend to agree, though I don't especially want to wait until 10 or 11 to advance. It's not an important game for the Falcons, so I'd prefer to just sim it.

If ballhawk's not interested in continuing, I'm sure we can find a new Saints owner. And that doesn't just go for him, we have several owners who have become very hard to reach/schedule games with.

You're excused. I don't mind people missing a few games, it's when they compound it with a lack of communication that it concerns me.

Ballhawk, Cru, and Zurezo are the main guys who have had that problem this season, though not the only ones. We're not booting anyone at this point, but I do ask that everyone take a look at their commitment to the league and evaluate if they still want to participate.
 
I say let ATL play the cpu I don't want the saints to get another sim win to make it were it might make a team I forget who not make the playoff and that said team could rest their starters next week.

Ok :cry: I will just hope for a sim loss or for the lions to put it on them next week(who shouldn't rest any starters because some might need just one more game of stats to get MVP;) )
 
I'll let ubernes decide the best course of action on it. I'm torn - on the one hand I want to move to the playoffs and then the offseason as quickly as possible, and on the other hand I agree that it would be unfortunate to see ballhawk back into the playoffs on the strength of sim wins.
 
Let someone take over ATL and play the CPU Saints?

Nobody has any business in the playoffs if they've missed 3 to 5 games. Going AWOL doesn't help either.

What's the playoff implications? Is Tanabeo really screwed if the Saints pull off a sim win? Obviously the Lions will be a tough out so the Saints (if they show next week) won't have an easy time.

My first choice though would be to advance ASAP tonight so we can move things along quickly and get to the playoffs and draft.

Agreed. I'll need to boot both players once I get home. I'm sure ballhawk won't like it, but it could have been easily avoided by not going AWOL.

Sure, but it won't do you any good until I can get home to boot them.

I was actually thinking of heading home early since I'm not feeling well, so I might be able to within an hour or so.
 
If you head home early, we can assume my 630pm EST game will be the last one? So advancing us at 730? I may try to schedule a double header. And update the thread title.

Yep, that's the plan.

I'm actually headed home now Doom, so you should be able to play by 2 or so.
 
Jets looking to end the season with a double-header. Texans-Jets at 6:30pm EST (hopefully a little before), and then Jags-Jets kicking off around 7:30pm EST (hopefully a little before, as well). Game 1 is huge, as that could snowball into some bad news. Looking forward to it though.

I believe there was a strong consensus not to wait 4+ hours for a meaningless game.. He'll have all next season to play games of consequence.

kaster isnt around his disc went missing and is working on getting a new one so most likely if u want to play this game ur going to have to find a sub
